What's the appeal of the DS tees or tank? Not particularly breathable, drape is whatever, stretch is moot, presumably smells bad when you sweat?

Pants shorts and bomber looking dope, not sure about the hoodless j1a tho, carrying a hat around clipped like that seems like a pita

S15-DS isn’t sweaty. And it does have stretch. Maybe change your diet so you don’t smell so bad when you sweat? lol

You don’t HAVE to clip the hat btw. There’s a big pocket on the front of the jacket. And other ones it’ll fit into;)

I will not worry about that. After last restock I believe the demands on P30A are nearly fulfilled. I don't see any reason this new drop will sold out instantly. Also I personally feel that this new variation does not have that much hype as it's first show 2 years ago. P38-E looks more interesting than P30A this year for me.

It’s not the the exact same pant and it’s being released in different colors so I wouldn’t be surprised if the hot sizes sell fast. There’s almost for certain going to be more stock in general but there was also more stock of the 3a-2 sooooo...

Thoughts on the P38-E vs GT?

I’m partial towards the P38-E because I can’t imagine a GT pant being comfortable in anything other than cold weather, but the contrast zipper on the E version doesn’t really appeal to me.

Also, my assumption is the team found a way to stave off GT de-lamination, but that’s just a guess.

    I highly doubt it’s GT 3L

  6. Multi reminds me a little too much of those paint by numbers Star Wars kits with the glow in the dark paints from the early 80’s crossed with Aliens(TM) aesthetic

but not in a good way

Yeah, was kind of annoyed when I learned the J28-WS doesn't feature a two-way zipper. Thought it would've been typical by now since every other acr jacket I own has it.

Still wish the last iteration j36 had one

The flak pocket as partial closure is great don’t get me wrong, but sometimes I want just the hem to break a little

Lol all this silly bullshit over some privileged peoples jumping in a lake in expensive clothes was worth it as it led to my discovery of this amazing video. Now this shit is funny

    Thank you fam

    -CH on p10-ch SS16, p10a-ch FW1617 is a bit thicker than -CH on p16a-ch, p10a-ch from FW1516.

Yah, my P10a’s are the 16/17 and def very sliiiightly heavier doing a side by side. My P10 pair are at work right now, but I’d swear they’re the same weight as the 16a’s... Maybe I’ve just beat the shit out of them at this point lol

DS is definitely the most comfortable of their current fabric offerings but it does get a bit too hot in summer.

The old CH fabric (both the industrial micro twill and schoeller shape) is even better though - although it's also less water resistant.

I just copped a pristine pair of P16a-CH a couple weeks back. After wearing my p10-ch regularly for the last 5 years, it feels fucking majestic walking around with like twice as much fabric lol

  11. Ya’ll need to learn how to write shit that doesn’t sound like you’re trying to get into MIT after being passed over for a scholarship. This shit isn’t that important and it’s a lot more fun when you take it less seriously and the ‘reviews’/ ‘feedback’ reflect that.  This is luxury cosplay ffs. It’s fun clothes that sometimes do what it says it will. But always costs too much no matter what because it’s luxury. You can buy non-objectively better ‘performing’ pants/shells for a third or less of the price lol. I used to try and excuse the amount I spent on it too by rationalizing whatever feature blah blah blah. You can see my dumb shit on this very forum some years back (as well as my other dumb shit over the years). It’s expensive clothes that are really fun to wear and fun to look at and geek out over. But this need for quantification just kind of takes the fun away from it imo.

At the very least- treat your review less like a fucking term paper and more like a: Hey I ran around in this shit and wore it and this is what I do in my dumb life and this is why I like it/hate it. (Which is impossible after owning the item for two days lol.) Turning everything into a bullet point style word wall is just fucking boring and lifeless. And honestly takes away from the brand imo. Half the fun of ACR is learning little weird nuances and stuff. It’s oddly exciting not knowing exactly what you’re getting yourself into.( That’s probably going to come off as a privileged take. See my comment above about luxury. )

    TLDR/Brevity I guess I just don’t like stemlords lol

P38-GT in Alpha Green from Errol's Insta Stories. Gotta love those black zips compared to the silver.

I have bought from the mothersite, fyi. I just don't see why people have sizing problems when they can just return. Yeah sorry I don't blindly consoom every season :0 asking questions and making personal judgements is my thing

You really are being intentionally obstinate eh?

I think an underadressed point of acr is that it simply is.. finicky when it comes to fit. The difference in body composition that yields  'looks awesome' and 'looks off' is minute.

edit: i mean even Ian looks pretty bad in most fits on the mothersite. If you're not E or Lenny ymmv.

Yeah you summed it up much more elegantly than me lol

  15. I dunno why I’m even bothering at this point, but yes some people are between sizes especially in the pants. It’s really that simple. ACR jumps sizes in pants and /or some peoples just have different proportions that don’t align with the fit. Some people unfortunately refuse to admit it and just wear a size too big or too small. But hey if you wanna blow money on shit and look dumb, then thanks for supporting the the next couple seasons of ACR lol

  16. I don’t think anything in the last couple years could be considered a ‘collection’ per se. not that that’s a bad thing by any means. FW 17 was the last offering that had anything resembling a concerted design language imo.
