    -CH on p10-ch SS16, p10a-ch FW1617 is a bit thicker than -CH on p16a-ch, p10a-ch from FW1516.

Yah, my P10a’s are the 16/17 and def very sliiiightly heavier doing a side by side. My P10 pair are at work right now, but I’d swear they’re the same weight as the 16a’s... Maybe I’ve just beat the shit out of them at this point lol

DS is definitely the most comfortable of their current fabric offerings but it does get a bit too hot in summer.

The old CH fabric (both the industrial micro twill and schoeller shape) is even better though - although it's also less water resistant.

I just copped a pristine pair of P16a-CH a couple weeks back. After wearing my p10-ch regularly for the last 5 years, it feels fucking majestic walking around with like twice as much fabric lol

  3. Ya’ll need to learn how to write shit that doesn’t sound like you’re trying to get into MIT after being passed over for a scholarship. This shit isn’t that important and it’s a lot more fun when you take it less seriously and the ‘reviews’/ ‘feedback’ reflect that.  This is luxury cosplay ffs. It’s fun clothes that sometimes do what it says it will. But always costs too much no matter what because it’s luxury. You can buy non-objectively better ‘performing’ pants/shells for a third or less of the price lol. I used to try and excuse the amount I spent on it too by rationalizing whatever feature blah blah blah. You can see my dumb shit on this very forum some years back (as well as my other dumb shit over the years). It’s expensive clothes that are really fun to wear and fun to look at and geek out over. But this need for quantification just kind of takes the fun away from it imo.

At the very least- treat your review less like a fucking term paper and more like a: Hey I ran around in this shit and wore it and this is what I do in my dumb life and this is why I like it/hate it. (Which is impossible after owning the item for two days lol.) Turning everything into a bullet point style word wall is just fucking boring and lifeless. And honestly takes away from the brand imo. Half the fun of ACR is learning little weird nuances and stuff. It’s oddly exciting not knowing exactly what you’re getting yourself into.( That’s probably going to come off as a privileged take. See my comment above about luxury. )

    TLDR/Brevity I guess I just don’t like stemlords lol

P38-GT in Alpha Green from Errol's Insta Stories. Gotta love those black zips compared to the silver.

I have bought from the mothersite, fyi. I just don't see why people have sizing problems when they can just return. Yeah sorry I don't blindly consoom every season :0 asking questions and making personal judgements is my thing

You really are being intentionally obstinate eh?

I think an underadressed point of acr is that it simply is.. finicky when it comes to fit. The difference in body composition that yields  'looks awesome' and 'looks off' is minute.

edit: i mean even Ian looks pretty bad in most fits on the mothersite. If you're not E or Lenny ymmv.

Yeah you summed it up much more elegantly than me lol

  7. I dunno why I’m even bothering at this point, but yes some people are between sizes especially in the pants. It’s really that simple. ACR jumps sizes in pants and /or some peoples just have different proportions that don’t align with the fit. Some people unfortunately refuse to admit it and just wear a size too big or too small. But hey if you wanna blow money on shit and look dumb, then thanks for supporting the the next couple seasons of ACR lol

  8. I don’t think anything in the last couple years could be considered a ‘collection’ per se. not that that’s a bad thing by any means. FW 17 was the last offering that had anything resembling a concerted design language imo.

??? Fuck that he can post what he wants. If you don't like him block him. At least give constructive criticism, the same goes for a lot here who feel like they own this forum. Childish behavior.

If you don’t assign ownership to some degree or another than what’s the character/value of the forum? Why care? Why bother? Why post?

Explain how he's posting for clicks when there are roughly 50 unique and avid visitors on this forum. Is he that desperate for clicks on an unmonetized video? He's sharing his own content that relates to this topic. Certainly, more effort put in than any of your posts.

To your first assertion: yes he is that desperate. And to your second assertion: learn how to use the fucking search function chud :)

How does it react to abrasions?

Better or equal to the 2018 and forward DS imo

which is to say- fucking great

I’ve only had this P36–E for a day but I can already tell that it’ll be more machine washable than the unblended cotton ver.  There’s no fade as well, at least I can’t tell.  Unlike epic and ventile where you can see an immediate change (fade) to the fabric after a wash (even hand washing it).
I only spot clean regular cotton epic and ventile. I only wash em if I really have to.

I followed tag directions on my P10a-E’s. Washed em 2-3 times with heavy wear in between and saw no real noticeable difference in the fit and finish overall

Last I read I was the only one talking specifically about ACR pricing model AND giving possible solutions. If you think this thread is all roses go to the first page of the thread and you'll find complaints about exclusivity and pricing. This is a systemic problem and it won't go away because you're tired of hearing about it. Sorry you don't get your monopoly on this thread.

And yet somehow this so called problem has led to 25 years of successful r/d, product releases, and collaboration with industry heavyweights smh

The same reason any company lowers prices. It sells out because (hint hint) the stock is super low (someone who knows personally umites told me this). E isn't lowering either because 1) he's saving face from when he tried justifying price hikes using half-lies or 2) he's trying to generate hype the same way Supreme does (I hate this so much).  Raise stock => less cost => lower prices => more stock sold and thus more total profit. Unless you're telling me ACR is dying so badly he needs to hike prices to gouge enthusiasts to save the brand. I doubt this given that he drives a McLaren.

As I said earlier, I have enough for whatever jacket he's making. He just needs to prove to me it's worth the price tag (either by quality, materials, design, or all of the above). I bought the CP4 because it was a unique design that did not have a competitive alternative. I'll be happy to do the same for a shell. That or if he lowered prices, which you said is unlikely.

I like ACR for its design, gimmicks, and details. Not so much for exclusivity and branding (worst parts about fashion today IMO).

BTW @AvantSol my friend has a J1A 2.2, which is why I'm familiar with the quality. It's def a grail jacket but not worth the 2k price tag IMO.
