Great to hear. And yeah, I think it’s telling that The J-72 is featured in the mothersite fit pics as a liner. Shit is pretty thin.

I used similar terms when discussing this with @lopiteaux in DMs. I think most people, myself included, are/were treating the 36 like a shell meant to potentially be worn over multiple layers as opposed to a more fitted jacket meant to be worn next to skin or with a thin layer underneath. Approaching it from that perspective the sizing makes more sense IMO.

All this talk about Paclite has got me worked up... WTB: J1A-GTPL size medium. Light use is fine.

Seems about par for the course compared to other drops IMO.

    Agreed on both points.

The GT Pro noisiness is my biggest gripe. Feels and sounds like you’re wearing a damn tarp. A tarp that breathes a little. Paclite is sooooooo luxe, quiet, and comfy by comparison. The facing fabric on my J34GT-PL just feels awesome and gives more of that ninja vibe. I know it’s not as element proof as the top tier gt pro, but the trade offs are worth it IMO. Really wish ACR would revisit using that shit.

Yeah, but I’m now realizing that I’ve probably derailed the BST thread enough this month. Should probably move this convo over to the main ACR thread.

I dig it. I love stotz, and prefer the offset map pocket, as well as the overall profile of the jacket. It also seems to have a useable amount of pockets. Some of the ACR jackets are just overkill imo pocketwise. It’s nice to have options, until you have too many options...

I think he’s just pissed that I downvoted his original J36 listing which had two different prices for the black and RAF in the same sizes, which he then edited after it started getting more downvotes. I made a cheeky post regarding it and he went full jr incel troll mode on that shit. Check out his post history it’s cringe hilarious.

The high collar is a selling point for me. I like to hide a little sometimes. Different strokes and all that.

On another note- does anyone actually use their sleeve hitch tabs? Never had a jacket that incorporated them. Curious to hear thoughts and feedback. Are they as useful/useless as the gravity pockets...?

I wore my old P10-S’ plenty in the rain(never got around to re-proofing so assuming it mostly wore off by year 2) and they repel pretty well for the first few 10 minutes and then start to get a bit damp, but never get that wet cotton feeling. It’s hard to explain but they don’t feel wet in the traditional sense, like no clamminess I guess?

I wasn’t aware of the difference in zippers, thanks for that. Do you happen to know which fabrics had which zips? Be curious to try the different styles out. The ones on my CH weren’t impossible to close one handed, I just felt they were just annoying enough at certain angles that it was faster and easier to use two hands at times.

The sizing on the old P10-A’s was the same as my p10’s. I’d be very surprised if these differ. Might be a good idea to compare old size charts. That being said- if you haven’t worn a pair of P-10’s before, they def look better on ‘athletic’ legs than stick boi legs. Thats both mine and the general opinion.

J-76 is ruggedly smooth. I quite like the lines and overall form and deceptive simplicity. It’s also refreshing to see the interops showcased with a full bag for a change...
