  1. Anyone else feel that the Apparat material is far too stiff and constricting for a slim pants? I wish they would recreate the apparat with the the same materials of the indisce pants (gore windstopper - poly + nylon + elastane), I mean the 6% elastane in the apparat pants cannot be felt whatsoever or is that only for the second fabric located at the bottom of the pants?

i think spere with the collar up looks sick tbh (as opposed to the notched lapel styling). IIRC spere is more form fitting and looks more futuristic (shaped cuffs, side paneling, and quick access chest pocket). on the other hand partition can look a little boxy, works well with a skate or streetwear type aesthetic. spere is slightly longer.

spere is also more breathable/air permeable, so if you anticipate going from a cold-ish climate to a hot-ish subway car or something you might appreciate the spere more.

if i were to choose between either, i'd personally get the spere especially if you dont need water protection.

Thank branespload and inksurgent for the very informative comparison and detailed post about the 2 jackets and I'll be going with the spere! Glad to hear that taped windstopper is essentially waterproof and that spere is highly breathable. Wouldn't Partition AR be an "anti-fit" jacket as it's a straight boxy cut jacket as opposed to the more detailed fitting spere?

  3. what's up guys I'm looking at the Partition AR and Spere and I would like to get some feedback from you guys about these jackets, I'm not sure which one to go for. I'll just use it for city commuting so Spere being windstopper and partition being 3L goretex doesn't seem to bother me too greatly. I'm more focused on which one is longer and have a better fit

Saw a post on grailed, the seller is claiming that Veilance has a new pricing policy on the colour black.

No discount on black will be offered in the future.

    https://www.grailed.com/listings/1715329-Arc-Teryx-Veilance-BNWT-Partition

    Can anyone confirm this?

Discounted as in employee or outlet? Employee wise they still are discounted as much as everything else no exclusion however I can't disclose how much. Outlet wise can't confirm

Seen prices already as low as retail in some places (mainly Facebook groups).

People who copped to resell are getting desperate. Just hope someone like Jerry doesn't wear them on IG if you're still gonna wait.

all the facebook groups I'm in still sell for more than retail however shipping does increase the price tremendously.

  6. Sorry to ask it in this thread, what do you guys think the market value of the Daf1 is heading towards? Do you think it'll increase over the next few weeks or drop? I'm seriously considering whether or not I grab a pair now or later

I have the SFB Field 6".  Awesome boots.  Originally bought them for hiking.. very durable and a ton of grip.  Water repellent and dries super quick.  Been wearing them pretty much every day since the rain started here in the bay area.  All around great pair of boots imo and they go really well with techwear stee.  I wish it had a side zip so you can just put them on and take em off without having to deal with the laces.

fit pics please because I might pick it up soon since its heavily discounted where I am

Have you checked out the Partition?  It is similar to the Galvanic, without the hood and insulation. The Peat colour this season is really nice.

Sadly the partition AR  coat fits too short. I find that the galvanic length is perfect for a long coat.

awesome. i've long considered doing something similar to a pair of arc'teryx stowe pants. did your tailor run into any issues/considerations?

Stowe pants would look amazing and surprisingly no! The only issue that occurred was the seam of the pants was a regular single stitch + serged raw hem instead of the flat felled seam arcteryx uses. It has a small discontinuity around the lower knee cap area (pretty much hidden) since it goes from flat felled seam to a single stitch seam

  10. Hi so this isn't exactly veilance however is still arcteryx, I've been playing around with some mainline arcteryx since functionality is its priority however the fits are not pleasing. The result is a pair of palisade pants that I've gotten tailored heavily and I just wanted to hear some feedback from you guys.IMG-20170130-WA0006-1.jpg

Reason why I chose Palisades over the other pants is because of the stretchy nylon (TerraTex) fabric is insanely comfortable and durable, and how the cargo pockets are visible because of the zippers but not exagerrated.

Let me know what you guys think
