Anyone got advise on LC'ing these Bamboo Prestos? I'm not very good with this. What do you guys think:

they're legit! The colours are good, the cage are only slightly touching each other (even mine does and it's unavoidable) but most of all no false stitching between the toebox material to the material with the zipper (sorry can't remember the name). Also sorry for messaging you really forgot my pair was XS

  2. I mean they could build hype as much as they want but the cuts have been quite the same for the past couple of years just some variations of material and other features. Essentially Veilance hasn't changed much but I can't lie about not being excited for that field pant this coming FW.

yo will the voronoi ARs work for summer? its just nyco like the apparats without any warmth tech right? the summer nylon version feel way too delicate.

Yeup! I don't see why not I worn my pair religiously no matter the season and it hasn't been uncomfortable whatsoever.

  4. After wearing my voronoi ARs for 4 months practically daily and only been washed twice the fabric has finally torn. I have to say these pants can take a beating but I wish the colour wouldn't fade out so quickly.

All in all voronoi ARs are worth it imo despite this common issue

From my experience, Arcteryx pride itself with the highest standard of quality and even this aesthetic doesn't meet the standard and get sent to the outlet stores. You often see the smallest aesthetic defect at the outlet store and marked as seconds.

If shorts/pants production is being moved to China, I am afraid this will be just the beginning of a downward slope for Veilance.

I've seen much worse in mainline Arcteryx but nonetheless this is such a small defect that its almost unnoticeable. This is nitpicking at best. The quality control is still going to be the same regardless even if they decide to manufacture in China.

Theres a dedicated page on the Rit Dye site w formulas for various colors. I modified the Moss Green recipe (vintage colors) w a little less green/more brown & black.

I'll try to remember to snap some pix when i get back from lake house vacation.

    any follow ups?

  7. Sadly for wider legged people the voronoi pant (terratex iteration) looks like regular pants and when I do size up it just distorts the silhouette even more. I had a pair of apparats that I reluctantly gave away to a family member knowing that it's just not comfortable enough to wear it over the voronoi ARs. That being said for the past couple of months I've been experimenting with voronoi ARs and have modded it quite a bit fit wise, some of you might like it but some of you might not. I'm also up for any suggestions on how to succeed on a better fit for it and will post pics here right after I steam it!

The fabric (coated AC^2) is super durable, but it will break in, scratch, conform over time. Here's mine with about a year of daily use. Traveling, commuting, as a gym/climbing bag, etc, through all kinds of weather (snow, rain, sun..).

EDIT: wait a lil bit for youtube to process it, you should be able to watch it in 4K for more detail

Thank you for video and I've always been wondering how much volume can the nomin pack carry?

... I do appreciate the support I got, lesson learned.

I have no commercial motive, but the skepticism is totally reasonable

Lazy? Yes. Inexperienced? Yes. Passionate? Yes. Wanting to learn? Also yes.

Thank all of you for your collective patience

If you wanted to learn then why did you ask for the pattern of the pants and how the articulation works? These are concepts you have to figure out yourself. You came in the forum asking to be spoonfed.

Thats great, I'll be getting the cap then.

On a side note, am I the only one that doesn't like the shoes? I appreciate the design and thought that's gone into them but I think the shoe itself is rather ugly.

not just that the colours are also pretty bad imo...

Were fit pics of the Conduct ever posted? Would like to see some non-retailer fits and styling.
Thinking of picking one up but want to make sure I size for body/sleeve length correctly

Haven's Product and fit pictures of the Conduct Anorak is an accurate representation. For any reference I wear Galvanic IS - M, Monitor Coat - S, Field LT - M and the I fit perfectly in a M Conduct Anorak.

EDIT: I'm 5'6 and it fits closer to a theta Ar length wise

Yeah, Apparats are too casual to wear with a tie, if that's your goal. The Anodes from last season would work but maybe not in the summer.

If you're not wearing a tie (or even a collared shirt) then Apparats would probably work.

Even the Anodes is far too casual imo the fit is too tight and the break into the wool material noticeable. Voronois would be the safest choice, the nylon material and the slim profile with the slight taper is more formal.  The safest pants that can achieve a business/profesisonal look is both the voronois and indisce pants but they both have to be hemmed right on top of the ankles or slight bit of slouch.

How/where did you add extra pockets and do you have pictures? Would be useful to know in case I go down that route ;)

    Thanks for the tip.

Sorry I don't have pictures because I haven't ordered it ;C Think apparat like styling.

This pants are in stock for year or more. Looked at them several times, but i would say that veilance is more casual/urban pants as Enfin Leve is more for fashion. I like veilance minimalist style more.

And what is Voronoi LT?) I know Voronoi AR and Cargo LT issued 2 years ago, but there was no Voronoi LT

Ahh I didn't know theyre in stock for more than 1 season not familiar with enfin Leve and I get the part where you it's more for casual urban pants however you can choose to have both side zip pockets very similar to the apparat but now in Ventile textile and make them alter it to a fit you like and voila A LA apparat 2.0.

and sorry about that I referred to the Nylon Voronoi pants as Voronoi LT since the AR is a thicker version ~ force of habit

I was scouring online for an ACG but impossible to find my size (XS). Any other suggestions would be appreciated.

Enfin Leve released a good cargo pant recently https://store.enfinleve.com/collections/bottoms/products/uarte-technical-cargo-pants and honestly the best part about this pants are:

    - The pants are fully customizeable before they're made. If you want to make any changes to the pants fit wise - looser hips, tighter calves, add articulation, add drop crotch, and such they're completely fine with it without charging you extra. I tried to push my limits and find out what kind of alterations I would get charged and it was I asked to add more pockets

    - The pants come STOTZ Etaproof aka Ventile which imo is an amazing textile much better than any of the veilance pants textile IMO.

I'm not advertising for them I just found it amazing how they let you customize it but in terms of just good pants I suggest grabbing the Voronoi LT it's imo the best veilance pants right next to the indisce and anode (if they decide to fix the pattern and make it looser).

Thanks, I'm going for the Apparat next. Looking for a cargo pants replacement.

not worth it IMO the apparat are far too constricting. You'll be better off going for ACG

  17. Edit: removed just saw the new Rab alpha polertec jacket - polertech alpha jacket without a face or backer
