@BrownMetallic Thanks for the tips! Will definitely try this out. So far the waist has stretched about 1", if I can get another inch of stretch like you say, I think I'll be sitting pretty.

Those look amazing. Maybe I will give them some more time before making the final decision, or bite the bullet and size up because I really love this fabric.

It's mainly the waist measurement that changes in different sizes. Sure, rise and thigh measurements are scaled accordingly, but they don't change as much as the waist. If the waist is too small on your pair, and the thigh and rise are good, then sizing up 1 won't increase in those measurements that much when you wear them. And, if you increase the waist size, they'll probably ride a little lower, and be at the same level as you're pair are now. For me, regardless of rise, high or low, my jeans always end up just slightly below my hip bones. Unless of course if they're ultra-low rise and they don't even make it that high, lol.
Neph on the IH forum has given out this good advice many times, that a cut should be chosen by the thigh measurement first, then decide on your waist size. If the thighs are too small for you size, sizing up will only make the waist too big.
The only cuts that come to mind that I can recommend looking at are Samurai's S510 - it's a wide in the thigh and hips compared to the waist, with a medium rise, and straight leg; PBJ 019 straight tapered cut; maybe Tanuki's tapered cut if you want low rise and taper, but they are very low rise and very tapered. Tanuki's Regular Straight cut thigh's aren't that big, but it's a good cut. OD has worked w/ SDA on a relaxed tapered cut, but it looks really tapered. Otherwise maybe the guys more knowledgeable about repro models can give advice about a fuller leg cut, and you could get them tapered...
This is good advice. I do size for thighs, but perhaps I'm paying too much concern to rise. Finding the right thigh to waist ratio is what I need. Think I need to try on my next pair in person, whenever things go back to normal.

Sadly after ~20 wears, the waist hasn't stretched out to where I need it to be for these to work long term. If anyone in the US is interested in grabbing them at a very reasonable price send me a DM. They're a size 31 and have been hemmed to 30" by Indigo Proof. These are truly some awesome jeans and I'm super bummed that they didn't work out.
I'm having a hard time finding jeans that accompany a minimum 12.5" thigh at a 32" waist that doesn't have a 11"- + rise. I feel if I sized up 1 or 2 on this exact model the jeans would be practically touching my belly button.

Thanks guys, looking forward to breaking these in. I've always heard stories that Flat Head front pockets are borderline unusable because how small they are and I confirm that these RJB's definitely have the smallest front pockets I've encountered on jeans. Luckily I'm not a big front pocket user.

I'm interested in getting a pair of Orslow's. I lean towards more slim cuts as I'm pretty thin, but the lack of button fly on the 107 is kind of a deal breaker for me. Wish I could try on the 105's somewhere in person...

I'm torn between a 30 and a 31. The 30's measurements are perfect beside the waist which I'm worried might be a bit tight, although Bobbo did mention there is a good amount of stretch. Decisions decisions...

Sizes look good! Only concern is the waste and whether I should size up 1 or 2 from my normal size.

Can anyone proxy me or recommend a proxy for this red stripe tee from this Japanese store: http://www.time-after-time.jp/products/detail.php?product_id=37995
I'm in Chicago, USA. They're the only store I've found that carries this shirt in Size L.

Just ordered a pair of 50s through Inoue's Instagram so I can get that sweet Inoue hem job. Does anyone have experience with shipping time when ordering directly through Instagram?

Hi guys - Wanted to share my Oni 512's with you all. I've had these for 13 months and have washed them 6 times. The crotch just went and I need to take them in for repairs. I know Oni seems to be getting a lot of flack with their recent rise in popularity, but I must say I really enjoy these jeans and how the character has aged.

How does one pronounce "UES"? Their website says it derives from the English word "waste", so is it phonetically something like "ways" (sounding like "race").
Anyways I've been rocking their Type 3 jacket for a few months and I absolutely love it. I'll share pictures once I have some more substantial wear on it.
