was it already discussed where to find decent replacements for the pull tabs?

 

 

 

I wrote an email to the shop at acrnm address and they sent me a pull tab and a couple of other bits, it did take quite a while though, and email response was slow, as in a month between mails, but really nice of them to do it ( for free ) and lets face it they have more important stuff to do i'm sure

Anyone got a photo of the worn out black Stotz for comparison? I'm liking the battleworn look a lot more these days rather than sleek and immaculate tech.

6TS is big, but it isn't out of control huge, and loaded weight depends what you're loading it with, if it's mainly clothes + 1 laptop it's dope for a long weekend trip etc. It has it's times when it's the right bag for the job. Plus it will go as carry-on.

 

I guess a factor is what kinda height / build someone is to.

 

Personally I love it. And agree XPAC is awesome.

 

Seems common sense that it's not intended as a day to day carry round, ( unless you're a pro courier i guess ) that's why there's different sized bags right ? 

On the subject of zipper pull tape -

 

Can anyone give me a step by step of how to tie the knot ?

 

The knot as it's tied on the J47A-GT main zip ? 

 

Driving me nuts trying to figure out how to tie it !!

( I've managed the first bit weaving it through the holes in the metal zipper, it's just the knot itself )

hi all, couple of questions that have been puzzling me for those knowledgeable on the bags, specifically the 6TS XPAC, 

 

1. what are the press studs on the liner for ? ( i get that the ones on the inside of the bag lid are for sealing the lid and keeping it in place when it's rolled in. )

i can't see what function these other ones can perform / might be used for ?

also was wondering if i have my liner the right way round ..

 

 

2. Anybody know why there's velco on this end section of the strap near the quick release buckles, just been wondering !

Ok, I am selling my much loved GT-J16  ( Gore-Tex Comfort Map Jacket ) Size: Medium. 

 

firstly I DON'T have the spec sheet, dust bag or sling.

 

It does have the logo tape, Force lock tape and detachable hood. 

It's in good worn condition.

 

I bought it from Firmament in Berlin in 2009 and have worn with care since. I class it as an 8/10 because of general wear - certain edges of the GT have worn through in VERY TINY amounts - on the cuffs / pocket corners. ( See pics )
The seams near the neck show some cosmetic wear as is totally normal, the seams generally are in very good shape.

But overall in very good condition. Zero scratches / dirt / rips.

 

A word on the sizing, Top half of this Jacket I would say fits like a straight M. 

The lower half goes snug. I would say almost like a Straight S.  ( It's a very 'carrot' like shape )

The sleeves are pretty Long in my personal opinion.

 

For reference I have a J47A-GT in Medium that fits me perfect. No issues at all lower half. The J16 I can zip up and wear fine, but the lower half is rather snug. That it's my only reason for selling it. Reluctantly ! 

 

Here are the measurements via the old Firmament page:

 

Half-chest ( pit to pit ) = 56cm

Length ( highest point at shoulder to hem / bottom of Jacket) = 67cm

Shoulder + Sleeve combined = 84cm

 

 

I'm asking for  Â£520 UK pounds /  $750 USD  + cost of Tracked Shipping ( UPS etc ) to your location.
