Nice to see someone rock some samurais rather than oni's for once for the Denimio contest.

Is there a reason for that? Are you going commando all of the time? Heavy farter?
I doubt "no wash yet still clean" very much. Sure, ass and ball sweat are a thing, but I really doubt that other parts of the jeans won't get grimy if you feel the need to clean the seat every few wears.
I don't do any heavy activity in my denim atleast enough to sweat much & really doubt they even smell.
but gives me peace of mind knowing the seat is clean but I hang mine all together in a closet & no odor.
just short term solution to minimize indigo loss to keep a high contrast fade rather than doing a complete soak or wash or if you want to spot clean any area really.

I use dr bonners & luke warm water.
every few wears clean inside of denim with 1tsp to 1/3 or 1/2 cup of water.
turn inside out & just gently lather with toothbrush down the back rise. let sit a min or so.
then fold in half down the back rise to rinse with faucet carefully to avoid getting other parts of the denim wet if possible.
then hang dry.
doesn't seem to effect any fades outside the denim but if you get to aggressive will be slight indigo loss on inside if is deep indigo.
have been doing this for 6 months plus on my pbj 07 & 013 & have yet to soak or wash yet still clean.

so much hate yet no real hands on opinion..
jump to conclusions much?
all because don't like the mystery master denim promotion.
Have to start somewhere other well established brands haven't been in the game that long.

was my intentions to get the 175 got mixed up somehow wrote wrong measurements on size when converting from cm to inches.my chest is only 39inches.
expensive lesson..
nice to know they shrink a little also.

had to reorder my tezomeyas loopwheels got the size 185cm was super huge in the chest & tad to long for my liking so sent them back.
which cost me something herendendouz paid 40$ to have them shipped then sent them back costed me 70$ somehow because usps are crooks here:( now just dropped another 40$ so they can reship them hope they fit well in size 175 this time will post once arrive are amazing shirts.

I got a feeling they will be releasing the deep indigo 15.5 oz I believe in near future..
that I'm assuming will be the name ks-012 same fabric as ks-013(aka variegated;) possibly only an oz. less or very similar fabric will have a much tougher feel to it & vertical fades but isn't part of the normal xx series.
did I not call it haha

either way it's about quality at hand neither brand disappoints imo..
if it was never mentioned would anyone really care about some grandmaster weaver story.
I hope they are bent so I can get a chance at more pbj

that double indigo is gonna be nice id imagine would grab them if I didn't already own so many pairs haven't heard a word about them lately maybe denimio should drop an update on that info although they won't be exclusively sold thru them.
hell I'd kill to have the type 2or3 ONI jacket also love both the fabrics but the length just won't work for me.

these look great my bkb have slight wear need a hem got to rock triple cuff why these seemed so much longer than any pair I've owned or maybe that's just samurais in general..
might send them off to railcar.
keep us posted @sardonicsmirk be good minute before I get these back into my rotation

damn u did a number on that mine still look pristine & have worn it a lot.
wonder if it is the same material as they used in the fake pullover style as the western. mine seems thinner & brighter shade of blue than this.

your right I misread is indeed sulfur dyewell...they are dyed with sulfur (AFAIK)
what i read was color is dyed black with a rope dyeing in the same way as indigo in the sulfur dye.
not sure on the method of sulfur dyeing is different otherwise with other black denim have no clue..

enjoy the bkb love how they fade best black denim ever & have compared them all maybe because they rope dyed both warp & weft & didn't sulfur dye.
wish they would of made it in a slimmer cut with smaller hem.
curious if they used Texas cotton haven't found any info

not the same shirt that was on sale but same style on @BiG is intertwined with stainless steel in threadsIs that the PBJ shirt that was on sale @ BiG? I was eyeing it but I didn't think I'd get enough use out of it.
this one doesn't & has nep poking thru fabric same as nizzle55 posted here.
own the western version myself love it is a very light shirt usually wear it with my 07/012's
will post a pic of the western if someone wishes to see it also.

pbj denim & strike gold hardware sounds nice.
I'd like to see a colab on an actual fabric but sure that's probably not possible..

My S0552XX was just delivered from 2nd today and I think I am too big for Japanese brands (It's a 46). The arms and chest are great where they are but i feel like the jacket is an inch too short for my liking, I'm 6'1. I'm afraid if I wash it, it will shrink some more in those areas. I may have to throw it up for sell. However, the denim is absolutely beautiful, slubby and neppy. This is actually my first samurai purchase and the detail on this is magnificent.
that's a shame been really considering a samurai jacket but like you in 6"1 & they run a tad short on most denim jackets.
own the pbj deep indigo & it's starting to fade nicely but wish I had few extra inches in length.
they don't factor this in imo they should make two different sizing like LT & XLT for us who require for longer torso.
would like to see some fit pics of this.

the 18oz will soften up real quick I got the one wash so didn't have the luxury of the raw available when I purchased..
but mine are pretty comfy already after just 20wears so far.
addicted to pbj got all the fabric they make almost now the 013 fit is so on point.

oh yea can't wait for the xx-020 & 017.
haven't seen anyone really with any faded pairs of the xx-020 which is a bit disappointing since produce that great electric blue.
anyone got any to show worn..?
was just told they would b a few months also;)

Just got the type 2 natural indigo. Tried to make the size 3 work couldn't so went with the size 4 fits perfect.
my only complaint is they changed something about it like they revised it someway.
the color of it seems a shade darker than the size 3 I had sent back to Denimio than the one I received from Okayama denim.
Also they changed the numbers from 6077 to 6067.

Even though mine still says 6077 on the tag.
