What’s your rationale behind that Jake?

It's basically that I just don't like chromexcel very much. I think it's a pretty boring and dull leather so I don't mind putting it in harms way more. Similar with the waxed flesh. I like my Wescos, but I wish I had chosen a different leather. Plus, waxed flesh is pretty tough and looks good beaten up anyway so that's my go to boot for any rare manual labor I do.

  2. Yeah I think you need to size down on those. You want a nice, tight fit with them:D

Me too, nobody needs to see my pedal damaged shins, they look like those of a slalom skier, especially with my pasty northern european complection, they're somewhere between arctic and polar on the pantone charts..

Mine aren't that white, but they certainly don't match up with my face skin tone at all. My face and legs look like poorly clicked leather. Nobody should see that.

@dudewuttheheck Are people near you generally wearing masks when out? I think it's around 50% at best near me.

It was around 50% for a while, but has now dipped to probably 25% at best. I'm still wearing something to cover my face for the foreseeable future. Where I am is too densely populated to not wear one right now.

Which sites have you been looking at? It can definitely be a bit confusing, but I've noticed that a lot of Japanese retailers list the thigh measurement as 10cm from the crotch seam.

I was looking at a couple Rakuten stores and on Brogue Shop.

My best advice for white pant is : Don't think about waist stretch as you will wash this pant really often (once very 1-3 wear). They in my opinion don't get the time to really stretch unless you stretch the waist with your hand after a wash while still being wet.

That's a really good point. I'm more worried about the thighs than anything else, especially because I see such conflicting measurements.

  7. @Ar_thor feet are weird, dude. I have Lofgrens and have never had any issue at all getting them on and off. They're like putting on slippers for me. In fact, I have 6 pairs of engineers and none of them are difficult for me to get on and off now.

However, I know other people who have the same issue that you do. The only thing I can add at this point is to ask if you're pointing your feet/toes down enough while you put them on.

You also may just need to push a little harder and get a boot jack to get them off. Maybe grease up the plastic bag a bit.

There are also some bootmakers/brands that offer to make the shafts wider to make this easier. I know Brian at Role Club will do this and I believe Wesco will too so if you really can't make these work, that might be something to look into.
