I actually have more if this isn't enough... Right now I'm happy with where they are, but I definitely am excited to go further with them partly because they are indeed the jeans that I have journeyed furthest with. I was always quite impatient with my jeans, but I finally have a pair of jeans that I am happy to keep wearing. They've already been my main jeans for over 2.5 years and I expect them to last at least 2 more. The only immediate possibility of them being shelved is that upcoming TCB contest, but I would go back to these after that again if I do participate.

Just gave my '37s another wash. Here are way too many pics.

Yeah the arcs aren't worth the trouble. I am assuming we're going with plain back pockets then? I would not want the cat ears or anything like that for a WWII jean.

That looks great. A minor price hike like that is more than worth it I would say.

    TCB

Perfect, but I don't want too much of a mismatch. They have to both be black or brown. I won't mix black and brown leather even in pocket bags.

    Damn, those look incredible!

I was interested in the flannel, but this lottery solution absolutely would not put me off at all.

I personally like that idea, @volvo240thebest. I don't have pockets made from either of those materials yet, so I'd enjoy having both.

Depending on how the fit turns out, I'm probably in on this too. Very exciting!

Looks good to me @beautiful_FrEaK - a small single cuff to get rid of the slightly flared look and it's perfect IMO.

Yeah, these definitely need to be hemmed. They're in that spot in which they are longer than I would like, but are still wearable.

When you say tailored do you mean tapered or do you mean shortened? I don't taper them, but I nearly always have my jeans and trousers hemmed. What I usually do is hem them to around 29" and then cuff them so there is no break. These still need to be hemmed. Right now, I'm triple cuffing them and they're still too long for my liking.

Thanks! I do love to match my leathers I'm firmly in the camp that doesn't wear black boots with brown leather jackets and visa-versa.

I have the red baja, but mine isn't too heavily worn. I'll snap a pic or two of it soon though. I'm really glad I have it. Great shirt in the summer here.

Well I only wear the leather jackets up to 69/70F and if it's that warm, I just wear a t shirt underneath. It is actually comfortable to me. For example, on Saturday it was cool enough in the evening to wear a leather jacket so I wore one on my walk in 69/70F weather. Today, I wore only a t shirt on my walk in 80F and I felt like I could have used a light jacket when I was in the shade. I just like wearing jackets. I always have. When I was in middle school, I wore a zip sweatshirt all year long at school. People just get used to the environments they're in. I've talked to dudes from Indonesia and they wear leather jackets in their cities which basically never go below 80F and are ridiculously humid. @mpukas i remember seeing the same thing when I was in Massachusetts. The first day of the year it was clear out and there wasn't snow on the ground, girls were sunbathing in bikinis even though it was in the 40sF.

Well, I have adapted to my climate so I can wear jackets in warmer weather than you might expect. For leather jackets, I can wear them in up to 70F/21C For denim jackets, up to around 77F/25C For my really lightweight jackets, sometimes I wear those at around 81F/27C. This is especially true now that I've lost weight and I feel colder easier. It's also really dry here so 25C here is much cooler than 25C in most other places.

Well it's too warm for the leather jackets on most days now and people are enjoying the cell phone photos more so that's what I'm going to post here. Trust me, if it's cold enough for me to wear a leather jacket then I'll wear one. I have not forsaken them.

Nothing quite like the pointless excess of 1950s American cars... They are far from perfect, but they sure are nice to look at IMO

Shoes that look better with age...

My choice was not about horsehide vs. cowhide. It was about cxl. My Lofgrens are cxl cowhide and my Role Clubs are cxl horshide. I have no issue beating up either. I clean my boots with a horsehair brush and use saphir renovator on most of my boots and I've used Smith's leather balm on my Lofgrens and liked that too. You can add something more heavy duty like Obenauf's if you think you need it, but that's probably not needed in most cases. If they get really dirty, you should clean them with some saddle soap. I've done that when necessary too. I'm sure others on here have slightly or completely boot care routines which work as well. I've been pretty casual with my boot care, but I'm thinking of adding some polish to the routine for some of my boots.

Gorgeous jackets, @Duke Mantee! Would love to see some more shots of you wearing the Mulholland.

Shoes that look better with age...

It's basically that I just don't like chromexcel very much. I think it's a pretty boring and dull leather so I don't mind putting it in harms way more. Similar with the waxed flesh. I like my Wescos, but I wish I had chosen a different leather. Plus, waxed flesh is pretty tough and looks good beaten up anyway so that's my go to boot for any rare manual labor I do.
