Well I'm extremely anti-double denim overall. I'm probably more out of touch in general compared to most people here.

This was weird to see... I like a lot of his fits... not this one.

    The Leather Jacket Thread

Yeah their Shinki is absolutely amazing. I remember Kobayashi-San said that theirs was special or he got first pick from Shinki. He said they were actually the ones who introduced Shinki to RMC. Obviously you would know this better than me. Either way it's absolutely stunning leather and it makes me wish their jackets had fit me better.

    The Leather Jacket Thread

I love the design of this jacket, but I hate the leather they chose for it. I may have bought it if they just used some regular Shinki

Well, CSF doesn't even make leather jackets so I'm with ya there

The pictures I've seen seem to have all yellow stitching and this pair didn't. They've been sold anyway

And the belt loops aren't made with a lighter fabric as they should be.

No worries! It's my fault for being short

I went in between the two suggestions and sized up by 1. TTS would have been 31 in these so I went with 32. I just went several months wearing oversized jeans that I don't want anything too big or loose (my 37s current fit gives me nightmares) so I didn't go up to 33.

    WAYWT 2020 (Denim Edition)

Thanks Doc! The trousers and boots work well together to give that look. I'm really happy with these chinos. The higher the rise, the better for me.

I grabbed both. The light weight of both fabrics is actually a bonus for me.

Decided to sell all my current CSF gear as it is all much too large for me now and I am still dropping more weight right now even while stuck inside mostly and without the gym. I'm betting on myself to not need anything in this size. The jacket was already sold and shipped, so it's just jeans left right now. I am of course still keeping the 37s for sentimental reasons. 1922 Jeans Size 36 unwashed and unworn (only tried on) These are brand new, unworn, unwashed - $425 shipped in the US (will ship overseas) Waist: 36” Front Rise: 13.25” Back Rise: 16.5” Thigh: 13.25” Inseam: 31.25” Leg Opening: 9” Conners Sewing Factory S409XXX 1946 jeans size 36 These have been worn several times, probably around 15-20 times, soaked once, and washed once. The wash was without detergent as an attempt to shrink them down. $350 shipped in the US (will ship worldwide) Waist: 34.5” Front Rise: 12.5” Back Rise: 16” Thigh: 13” Inseam: 29” Leg Opening: 9” Conners Sewing Factory S409XXX WWII San Francisco jeans size 36 These have been worn a decent amount with some wear visible. They have been washed twice. The second wash was with no detergent to try to shrink them. Otherwise in great condition. $325 shipped in the US (will ship worldwide) Waist: 34” Front Rise: 13.25” Back Rise: 16” Thigh: 12.8” Inseam: 29” Leg Opening: 8.75”

I am not a denim tux guy at all, but that looks great @Duke Mantee. Perfect fit on the jeans and jacket.

    Denim books

I pre-ordered the jackets book too. The 501XX book is one that I take a look at quite often, so I think I will be happy to have the jacket one as well.

That extra heavy one is gorgeous. Such beautiful autumn colors. Makes me wish I liked flannels more.

    Mister Freedom

Yeah I got rid of most of my flannels now as well except for a couple of rather thin ones. If I need to be warm, I'd rather layer with a sweatshirt anyway.

    Mister Freedom

Especially in our climates. An Iron Heart flannel is warmer than a lot of my jackets.

    Mister Freedom

That's way lighter than it looked haha I didn't actually handle it though. I was too busy trying on jackets. Just checked and you are correct - it is 8.25oz. My eyes deceived me.

    Mister Freedom

Yeah it's a nice shirt. I saw it at the store the other day and it was thicker than I was expecting. I don't know the exact weight, but it seemed fairly hefty.

I can tell you actually work in them. I've worn mine for 3 years and the knees on mine are still pretty dark blue
