I don't know if this is a dumb question but is there such a thing as a proxy from Japan that's not just buying from a proxy service that just uses Rakuten, Yahoo Auctions, etc.? I want to buy a (sold out in NA) sweat from the RMC shop in Nagoya and they don't ship overseas.

They produce some models for both seasons, but not the same jackets each year. This can be a hard thing to buy. Keep an eye on their instagram, catalog, online shop and the pre-order page on their website. Warehouse jackets will sell out within a day or two on Hinoya and I haven't noticed any shop in the USA stocking them recently. It's a good idea to look through their stockists for smaller shops in Japan that can take overseas orders (assuming you are overseas). This shop still has a small sized 1953 from this year; he will ship overseas and has made pre-orders for me before.

Thanks for the info! The past few days I have been trying to see if there was a pattern for when they're manufactured/released but to no avail. Nevertheless, I emailed Warehouse themselves about some models.

Does anyone know when Warehouse restocks their denim jackets? Looking through the catalog, it appears to be more of a S/S item but their releases in various shops is all over the place.. I'm on the hunt for any of their Duck Digger models (WWII, I, & II)

How does the fit compare between the 1947 and 1966? I've been looking at measurements and would fit a size 30/31 (depending on the shop) in the 1966 when I wear a 32 in the 1947.

@youngofthesoonest Have you noticed any extra shrinkage over time with washes and wear? I've pairs of standard 1947s that have shrunk over after subsequent washes months later.

Selling a pair of tagged size 34 (measured 32) Black SC1947s from Self Edge w/tages & SE tote on Grailed for $225. Happy to cut a deal for a fellow Sufu-er.

@(10chars) I saw them as well. I would chalk it up to the dying process shrinking the denim like crazy. I'm waiting for the restock on the black SC47s.

I'm a fan of the details and styling of the Merz short sleeve henley. Does anyone have experience with sizing and shrinkage? I know they tend to be on the longer side. Thanks!

I have last season's short sleeve pocket sweatshirts from them and they do shrink a bit in length in a normal wash. But, because of the nature of the fabric, you can easily stretch it back again.

Any recs for a merino wool undershirt tank/vest? I've grown tired of my cotton hanes ones and would love something that can wick away moisture as well as keep me warm.

I know this as asked somewhere in another thread but what Japanese shops are still able to ship to the US? I know of BEARS, Hinoya, Denimio, Okayama, and Pants Shop Avenue; I know there are others but I can't seem to find the list someone put on here.

I'm on the hunt for some crewneck sweats from Warehouse because the ones I'm looking for appear to be sold out in the US.

Hinoya is great! They delivered to me (Illinois, USA) using FedEx a few weeks ago.

Does anyone here have any experience with SC's Slack Denim? There's someone on Grailed selling an old pair and I'm wondering how it behaves, stretches, wears, etc. compared to the standard 1947 model/denim. I know they're an older model that is discontinued.

I bought the short sleeve pocket sweats from S&S; I wonder if WH will release more color ways next Summer.

My newer model BR sweat shrank a smidge everywhere after a hot wash and dry but it wasn't as dramatic as SG.

I recently picked up a '69 Timex Sprite from eBay. It's markedly smaller than anything I own in my budget friendly collection (Casio F-91W and Seiko SNK809) at a whopping ~32mm with the crown.

I have both the more recent iterations of the RMC and Buzz sweats. On the quality/durability, I've only had them for two years but both have held up well with washing/drying and such. With regard to fit, the RMC has a more "vintage" fit with tighter arms, shorter torso, boxy fit, etc. whereas the Buzz sweats have a more modern fit with a longer torso, more room in the arms, etc.
