  1. Here’s a pair of Westride 1948 I found on yahoo auctions, thinking if I got my same size as CSF I’d be good, but no. They are very very slim, even slimmer than CSF. The denim is grainy but supple, and the previous owner faded them quite nicely.

I just washed my 1955's. when they get 2 weeks of post wash wear I will show the fades. I wanted to wear my 1920 Sunset Shirt for a job interview but because of some very slight shrinkage in my 1955's, the shirt no longer works with those jeans, it just does a complete muffin top when I tuck it in. (skinny man problems).

So I was forced to break out my Lee "50's Rider" 101z as they are a very boxy very high waisted fit which works well with the shirt.

one question... does the 1920 Sunset shirt shrink too? I think I will wash it cold..

The Sunset 20s shirt does shrink but not a huge amount.

    Woooooo! Excellent fit!

  4. Here are my Ooe Cone 01 going in the tub for a double hot soak. The denim in its raw state is very supple, smooth. The fit feels a bit different than my other 01 from Ooe, but I’ll see after the soak.

Just a fit update to show how nicely they’ve stretched in 2 weeks. Great fitting jeans. The midnight denim is a nice addition to my wardrobe

Does anyone have photos of a worn pair of Bowery Blue Maker jeans? If you own a pair, do you wear them regularly or sporadically?

Just got a pair from papanui, and are loving them. Mine aren’t that worn but I’m working on it. They’re incredibly comfortable, denim is soft. Soaked twice and worn for a few days.

apologies for the terrible photo, I’ll try for better soon.

  7. Ok, just got these Freewheelers 1944-45 and I absolutely love the fit. You all were right about the waist being tight at first but they stretch a good amount. Im really comfortable in them, loose in the butt and thigh and legs but a nice wide leg. How did you file down the rivets Austin? Also thank you @Duke Mantee and @JohnM for all the help in getting these! And @nick682 for selling them to me-now sell me your size 31 :)
