Hey guys, anyone here have experience with SISP slip-ons, esp. the ones from this season?

 

Ive heard from a couple of sources (friend, Haven) that you should size down.  And I've heard from others (friends) you go TTS.

 

I don't really have an opportunity to try them on, so wanted some feedback.  

Agree with cmdR, I haven't had a chance to test its waterproofness, but i've not noticed markedly better breathability.

So funny story.

 

Loved my J43K Dust so much I decided to buy the black iteration from Union LA.

 

A week later, it comes, and when I open the box - it's a J44-GT.  Took one look and fell in love with it, and since I already have a J43K, it was an easy decision to keep.  Contacted Union LA's online store and they refunded me the difference.  Best part about it is, I'm a size small and J44's in small have been sold out everywhere I've looked.

 

Union LA online store service (over the phone) is awesome.  They, however, do not send original Acronym packaging (bag, spec sheets) which is really shitty.

 

 

 

 

Yeah that's why they still have some stock left. The discount combined with the usdollar to yen exchange rate this year makes some rare items worth importing though. But you shouldn't bother as your canadian dollars are worthless

 

I think the CAD is pretty good against the JPY, we've been appreciating for some time (or maybe its better to say JPY has been depreciating.)

 

But ya, compared to the greenback, the CAD has little purchasing power.

Just got my Liminal pants in. I'm 5'10, 175lb with large thighs and booty from squatting. Size 33 fit me perfectly. Roomy in the thigh and have a pretty aggressive taper below the knee. They're also really long and are meant to be stacked. Really cool details on these. They have a water repellent coating over the cotton material and water just beads and slides off. 

 

Sizing advice, I would go with your regular pant size, not your vanity sized APC's or jeans. If anything, measure your waist and compare it to the measurements on the Arcteryx site. These fit similar in the top block to Club Monaco Davis Slim chinos in my opinion. I suspect the fabric might stretch a bit with some wear since they're cotton, but don't take my word for it.

Hi guys. It looks like Acronym restocked some of their older stuff. I have a few questions. I'm looking to get the P14-CH in Medium.

However if it does not fit as well as I'd like do I get the brokerage fee back from UPS? Or do I just take it as a sunk cost.

 

Also what collection is the P14-CH from as I can't see it from their listed collections. I'd like to see a fit pic if anyone has one available as it says its a slim fit and the P14-S is a regular fit.

 

Use the acrnm website as a fit pic, the model is Errolson and he's around 176 cm i remember reading.

 

Brokerage fees are a service charge - they will not give that back.  Duties, on the other hand, I think you can receive back, but it may require some paperwork on your end.
