edit: I liked certain aspects of all of them, with Incendies definitely the best of the three imo, followed by Polytechnique and then Maelstrom

I still think Prisoners is his best film but Incendies definitely rivals it

 

 

fire walk with me had some pretty good scenes in the second half

lost highway was just weird, I liked when the fence's cabin exploded in reverse though that was cool

 

 

thought it was really good overall, all the things they did to keep it looking like

one shot were incredible, the ending threw me off though

I was filming the santa claus parade in my town for Rogers today, and there's this kid they get who does studio work to come help on a mobile shoot when he doesn't know how the fuck to work a camera. So I'm doing my shit during the parade and I get called over to help this guy with something on his lens but he's on one of these platforms so he has a better shot or w/e. So I'm climbin up this rickety ass platform's ladder and as I get to the top step my foot gets caught and I stumble. I nosedive off this 6foot platform and land on my head in the way of the parade. I blackout and wake up in an ambulance. Apparently right after I fell off this platform I was like "Yo I'm totally fine like I'm bleeding and just fell on my head but I'm good" and Rogers just kept on filming like I didn't just majorly concuss myself. 3 stitches beside my left eye and I'm a bit scraped up + can feel a black eye coming in. I wonder if they caught me falling off the platform on tape though I'll try to get a copy

found out I need to take a 5th year/semester of highschool to even apply for college/uni cuz I took the wrong level courses this year

I found the acting for most of the first half not so good, but it seemed to pick up towards the end. agree on the story being mediocre, but the cinematography was great. I liked the way they did the closing credits too

I haven't really thought that far ahead to be honest but I find the moisturizer fine for my skin, maybe a bit on the heavy side but when I run out I'll probably return to the moisturizer I was using before which was the simple - hydrating light moisturizer.

acne.org regimen does wonders if you use the 2.5% benzoyl at night only, it's pretty expensive if you live outside the US though, might be good to try it out for 1-2 months and see if it clears up your skin then move to a very gentle and cheaper moisturizer and cleanser but keep the peroxide in case of a breakout

- content without a job for now, keeping up with school and coop is taking up most of my free time

- started reading again

- got the coop placement at rogers, filming hockey games and ish isn't really what I'd like to be doing but I'm meeting cool people and getting some much needed technical experience in television production

- don't know how that average is gonna turn out might need to look at a fifth year of highschool

- too lazy to improve portfolio right now
