9/10 condition, regular wear, and a small hole on the back side of the sweatpant section (pictured).

 

An amazing pair of pants from one of Miyashita's most famous shows, and a unique aesthetic you won't see from any other designer or label. The upper half of these pants are a soft cotton loopback sweatpant with four signature Number (n)ine 3d pockets and drawstrings. The lower half below the knee is made of a gabardine wool like you would see on a dress pant with a silk stripe running down the side.

 

Around the thigh/knee area there are two of Number (n)ine's curved zipper parachute cargo pockets, made out of a sturdy cotton twill, which each have snap button pockets on the outside. Above the left leg there is an extra set of snap button pockets. Around each of the cargo attachments is a strap that goes around the leg and is adjustable for the "bondage" silhouette.

 

The hem of the pants is adjustable by way of drawstrings like the one you see on the waist. These can be left loose or tied tight to cinch the leg opening shut and encourage stacking around the ankles.

 

Number (n)ine size 2, which is best for a 28-30. Keep in mind that the leg has a pipe fit and is very slim almost all the way down without being tapered at the ankle.

Comme Des Garcons Homme Plus dropcrotch shorts from 2010

 

 

 

Polyester dropcrotch shorts from CDGH+ 2010 in dark grey.

 

9/10 condition, worn very little but in great shape.

 

These shorts are 100% polyester but don't let that fool you--CDG has worked with polyester in numerous ways to unlock the fabric's potential--namely in their boiled polyester garments. These shorts are unboiled, but have been worked with to create an almost technical fabric--the thick polyester feels and shapes like neoprene when worn, making angular shapes with the bottom half of your outfit.

 

Like all of CDG's dropcrotch shorts, these fall below knee level for a relaxed silhouette.

 

Size S, fit sizes 29-32 comfortably without problem.

Julius SS10 saw a lot more light, draping materials in the show, especially on the pants. These cargoes are made of a cotton/lyocell blend that feels like thicker layers of soft silk, and drapes similarly.

 

The pants are somewhat minimally designed; there are no front or back pockets, and instead the two large cargo pockets aim to replace these. They are easily reachable and can be used even without unbuttoning the flap due to the signature Julius pocket design. They can hold a great deal and are fully functional as such.

 

The most interesting design feature is the cinched leg. While the pants can be worn without this attached at all, they are quite wide and long. Running the internal strap up to the buttons on the outside forces the leg up and around, cinching the excess fabric into its curved shape. When worn, the pants gather around the knee and stack amazingly around the cinched area. There are a few settings for the button in case one is not tight enough.

 

Tagged Julius size 1, fit 29-30 without problem.

9/10 condition, have only been worn for the pictures you see here. Resin is in good condition on the body of the shoe, and has some natural peeling near the edges of the sole. No box but with tag.

Highly sought after sneaker and one of BBS' best iterations of the Bamba, from fw12. Creates a really nice silhouette with tapered pants, and the texture of the resin is amazing in the light.

Materials and craftsmanship is top notch; handmade in spain, lamb leather outer and soft pig leather inner.

Fits a size 7-8 depending on how tight you lace the tongues--fits a bit tight on me as a 7.5 laced relatively slim.

9.9/10 condition, NWT and never worn, straps are bent from storage but otherwise show no other signs of wear.

 

The best iteration of Raf's bondage pants, and the direct predecessor to the SS2003 "Consumed" three-strap jeans. Unlike that piece, which is constructed of a light denim with cotton straps, this pair is made out of a wonderful heavy and smooth cotton. A great pair of pants for colder months, they cut an impressive wide silhouette in accordance with the oversized and imposing shapes of the rest of the collection.

 

The PVC detailing goes all the way around the waist and down each side, and is finished by two D-rings on the front and three on each leg. All are in great and working condition--the straps are bent from being kept in one setting but can easily be flattened out.

 

Has a standard 5-pocket setup, zipper fly, and button closure.

 

Marked size 46 and runs slightly smaller; best for those who wear size 28-29.
