  1. interest check on my GT-J34, size small, color olive. bought it from a japanese seller earlier this year, so condition is excellent (can provide pics on request), but it doesn't rain as much here in the bay as I expected. Ideally I'd like to trade for another acronym jacket in stotz etaproof or epic cotton, something more breathable.

  2. Hi guys, I'm looking to buy a pair of vibergs, size 8.5...last isn't strict, not super interested in 110 and I would prefer an unstructured toe (cap toe or non). Ideally I'd like to buy a pair of the 3sixteen coffee chromepaks, but I'd also take the ripple suede 3sixteens (brown), a pair in brown CXL or even brown waxed flesh...I'll buy anything that fits my criteria. I'll pay very good money for new pairs and scale from there based on condition.

  3. WTB 3A-8TS (plus if you already have the 15-inch laptop sleeve)

P.S. guy who posted last page about a J-34 and everyone in general: make sure to check yahoo jp. Found a j-34 in "japanese used" condition (aka new) that came out to less than retail even with proxy

  4. Any recommendations for some slim, tapered hiking pants?

IMO the only option I've ever seen that comes close (I've been on the hunt for something like this as well) is Isaora, although some have apparently had issues with their consistency. However, their customer support seems good, so I think it would balance out. Not sure what you mean by hiking pants though, to me it just means a rugged fabric in a pant with some extra cargo pockets perhaps.

  5. Fair enough sypron, and I happen to be of the same mind as you. I would humbly say ACR does have a number of timeless designs, and I can also respect the restock situation discussed simply as a matter of business sense. I think part of this "problem", if you will, has to do with expectations on the consumer's part for a reinvented wheel every season.

  6.

I've never tried a delivery service but I was always curious as to how it works. Do you order what you specifically want through an online menu or do they bring in a bunch of stuff for you to see and decide? I would much prefer the latter, obviously, but it just sounds inconvenient from the dispensary's perspective.

The delivery dispensaries I've ordered from always go via menu, look at pics and info on their site and then order. The latter would obviously be preferable but not feasible from a business perspective I think, so sometimes it can feel like online shopping if you don't know strains (I don't); you think you know what you want and it shows up not quite what you were expecting.

  7. Why does osx not support drag/snap-to window management? Do i have to enable it or what. Windows 7's window options are bad enough.

I use hyperdock, which adds this, among other things. One of the first apps I would put on a new mac.

Would you recommend the new rMbp ?

I would say if you can get a deal on the last generation, there's almost no difference. However, in terms of the rMBP in general, I would definitely recommend it...the new "macbook" is a joke, shit keyboard, shit processor, shit everything basically. If you do anything like photoshop/illustrator, you don't want an air either, display's too small and not enough power.

My mom bought herself a top of the line MSI laptop with 2x resolution display, flash memory, the whole shebang, and the trackpad broke after a week...not that the trackpad interpretation software was very good in the first place. In short, rMBP is the best serious laptop you can buy IMO

  8. I guess I have to give ACR credit (between the lunars/highs and S/S 16 teases) for not just rehashing the same shit over and over again in the knowledge that the usual crowd will buy a jacket with a new pocket/fabric, or random product with the ACR name (cough cough, second ACG collection--gotta pay rent though).

Although, at this point, I'm not sure how to feel about that new direction.

time to play wait and see, if there's any designer I trust it's Mr. Hugh...

  9. If you want to be warm in Veilance, try the Sinter. Sure you'll look goofy to some, but you gotta do what you gotta do  :o

down monitor seems like it would be quite warm as well, although I've never worn it myself.

    edit: sorry for double post

  10. At 50% off, it becomes a fairly inexpensive jacket. Might be worth it to buy just to have in your arsenal.

Agreed...I've been seeing some for around $200, which is pretty good (Christ, how jaded I am) for what it is. A nice windbreaker/nyco shell for mild climes with zero ornamentation and trademark veilance steez.

  11. Bought a fair amount but no subnet access (must have gotten lost in the mail), so guess someone's pulling your let re: 3rd purchase : D

Is Grainger Gore-Tex cleaner available in DE/AT/CH? Any pointers to an online retailer?

I bought mine from amazon. It isn't always in stock (had to wait a week for shipping notification), but it got here eventually. sorry if that doesn't work out for international.

  12. WTB many different acronym jackets, size small (GT-J34; DS-HD2; CH-J3B; J32-GT; SS-J25; J38-LP)

will buy others, mainly just interested in the minimal stuff, I.E. not a fan of flak pockets and the like.

Oh yeah, still selling my 3A-2, immaculate condition for $300 OBO plus ship within the US. Don't be shy, make an offer!

  13. Thanks a lot guys. I already own an align and a composite, so I thought it might be overkill/overlap to buy a long coat. But I now know it will definitely be overkill to buy an insulated coat!

  14. I realize this is a subjective question, but do you guys think a galvanic IS would be overkill for san francisco? I run hot so that's a consideration. It only has 60g of coreloft but I'm thinking I'll probably never use it up there. I've been eyeing a few long techwear parkas.
