Am I missing anything more recent or are those the ones from aw14?
Also saw those Salomon's in Wood Wood. I couldn't wrap my head around the price tag either. I might need to drink more of the brand's koolaid to get behind that kind of price tag.
ya those ones. i feel the same about the chris shannon x cat sneakers. both pairs have been sitting in OC for months untouched because no one wanna drop that much cash for some sneaks. the only reason i ever stop by is to see if they're on sale.
those salomons remind me of Lalo a lot, just bizarrely expensive

anyone knows what happened to the rerelease of the northwave espressos that was supposed to drop last year in japan??
pretty sure they did drop, dunno where. I've seen people wearing them in Osaka and Nagoya but I can't find them anywhere. I actually bought a pair on eBay two years ago, looked solid in pictures but when I got them it was pretty obvious they'd crumble as soon as i put them on.
always liked the mythography sneakers. look like attachment runners
or those soloist foot the coacher runners.

Don't really have any interest in workwear anymore but Rats is cool. a lot of those japanese brands kinda blend together for me though; 50 duppies, uncrowd, gladhand, cutrate and all them. Still like The Stylist though.

Moving to Japan in a couple months for work. My contract is for a year and I might stay longer.
My Japanese is not good. Should I be studying or should I aim to pick it up just by living there? I'm nowhere near fluent but I want to get from elementary level to conversational at least

can someone comment on the quality of master piece? does the quality justify the pricetag - or is it just made in jpland hype?
kinda late but older MP (i.e. early 00's and before) was nigh bulletproof and teched the f out. newer stuff is aight, not all of it is designed as well as it used to be, but the quality is likely still solid.

Does anyone here have experience with Kapital sizing? Are they small fitting like Vis?
Depends, a lot of their product ranges in measurements. I saw some riding pants recently that were tiny but plenty of their jeans are too big on me. Best way is to compare actual measurements.
I know some of Yohji's pants are meant to be worn oversized and then belted to fit your actual waist. I figure Comme sometimes does/did the same thing but I wouldn't know. I'm considering some pants in size S but the waist is like 36"(!), which is way too big for me. Are they supposed to be huge until you belt them up?

finally got the Torsion CUs in the mail. The silhouette is really not potato-y at all irl, more like Nike Frees even though the pictures don't do them justice
The sock liner is really cool and lets you wear them without laces, might even make them resistant to water. Also it means that the sizing is flexible. I'm an 12 in Stans and most adidas but got an 11 and they fit fine, maybe a little snug. also, they remind me of the shape for the Nonnative x Montrail Phoenix.

the shoes have some glue stains and stuff like most mass-produced shit which is whatever but the heel panel has some weird discoloration
