  1. PSA here are measurements of 1101w size 32 after a couple hours of wear:

    Waist - 33"
    Thigh - 12.25"
    FR - 11"
    BR - 15"
    Inseam - 34"
    LO - 8"

Selling these if anyone is interested. Trying to figure out how the new marketplace thing works.

  2. Interested in the slim fatigues as well. What size are yours? I'd love to get some real world measurements on size 4 before I order if anyone has them. I've found a few different size charts with varying measurements.

  3. Anyone know if 3-16 will be offering the classic fit again. I really like their fabrics and construction but the rise is too low on virtually all the models

Same. I wish they'd offer the CS cut / shadow denim

  4. Truman Boot Co in natty CXL. Admittedly not the most exciting for a MTO boot but I'm not a guy with a huge rotation and didn't want something too wild. Took about 9 weeks to get these after I made the order. Really happy with the fit and quality of these boots. Pics are after a couple of wears.

  5. Always wanted to pickup some 3sixteen gear. Until now I've only had one of the heavyweight pocket tees. I grabbed these short sleeve button downs on Grailed last week and really excited to sport these all summer. Guessing they are from the past season or two but all in completely perfect condition and fit me exactly as I was hoping.  Now I'm thinking about the CT120 for my next pair of denim!

  6. Anybody have one of the sterling key hooks? Concerned it could either be easy to have my keys slip off and lose them or be a pain to get them on / off every time. But I hate putting my keys in my pockets.

  7. Hey guys, I will try to get a fit pic up after I have them hemmed. Just not sure I'm ready for my debut on the sufu catwalk

I agree I wish the leg opening was closer to 7.75 or 8" and they would be perfect.

  8. My 3012s arrived and I am seriously pleased. Ordered from 2nd and it worked out great. I've had a run of mis-sizing denim lately and really glad to find a new pair that is going to work well - and couldn't be happier that its TFH pioneer denim to boot!

Size 34 (raw vs post wash)

    W 17.75 / 16.5

    T 13.25 / 12.5

    I 37.5 / 34.75

    LO 7.75 / 7.25

    FR 11.5 / 10.75

    BR 16 / 15.25

The post wash sizes above included a hot agitated soak and a hot machine wash. This is prior to wearing at all so does not consider any stretching. The hem should be about 7.5" after I have them chain-stitched.

My only complaint was the rise is a bit lower than spec and that was my real reason for wanting this cut. However, its long enough for me. Can't wait to break em in

  9. After a lot of waffling between FH 3012s and Sam 0500xx I've finally ordered a pair of 3012s. Hope mine turn out as well as the ones above. Thanks for posting measurements - confirms I made the right choice in going with a 34.

BTW great tile work in that bathroom

  10. I currently have a size 33 3012. The leg opening will definitely open up if you hem to it a 31. Washed, tumbled dried, and hemmed my current inseam for me is 28 inches with a 7.5 inch leg opening.

The 3012 is noticeably more tapered than the 3009 (I own TTS 3012s, and have tried on a pair of +1 3009s), though the taper is not as extreme as it looks on the measurements or when you first try on the jeans. You will not end up with a modest but detectable taper like a nice pair of chinos, which seems more what the 3009 aims for. You'll end up with a more modern-looking taper like what I've seen from Samurai 710s, though with a bit more room from the hip down through the knee.

Just a forewarning: after the first wash/soak, they will look like a total carrot. But after a second or third wash the top block tightens up a bit more and they settle down nicely. It's still a more roomy top block than any other cut with a modern taper, but it's a roominess that you feel more than see. They're the only jeans I have that look relatively slim, yet I feel like I could go for a nice jog in.

Thanks for the feedback gentleman. Now to see if I can track down a sz 34 with the japanese arcs and the older style cotton stitching

  11. Anyone have the 3012 in a 34? Wondering if this cut would give me the rise I want but worried the taper is too extreme. Based on the Rivet hide specs the leg opening is 7.6" raw. But that is based on a 39.5" inseam length. I'm wondering what the leg opening would come out to at about 31" where the bottom of my cuff would be...and if the taper would end up looking closer to what is on the 3009s.

  12. Thanks for the fit advice guys. I don't have a fit pic handy but they definitely don't LOOK too tight, especially when I'm standing up straight. I sized up +1 from tts. I just think the rise is about an 1" lower front and back from my eternals I've been wearing a while. I thought that would be fine but guess I've learned elsewise.

  13. Hey all

I picked up some 3009s a few weeks ago and I'm not too sure about the fit. If anyone would be interested let me know. Size 34 with the japanese arcs. I'll probably get them up in the marketplace / grailed sometime soon.

So no offers yet on my grailed listing... So now I'm debating if I should just try to make them work. The funny thing is - the waist and the thighs are perfect but the top block still feels constricting if I'm sitting down. I assume its either the rise and/or the hip measurement that I'm feeling.

Just wondering if I can expect much stretch in the pioneer denim in the top block / rise after 30ish wears or so? I've worn them twice now.

I removed the tag from the back pocket and wore them only around the house for a bit. Essentially brand new. I was just wanting a bit more relaxed fit.

These are the one wash model so any shrinkage should be mostly gone. I have not washed them or soaked or anything.

    Approx measurements:

    Waist 16.75" (laying flat)

    Thigh 12"

    Hem 8"

    Inseam 34.75" (original hem)

    Front rise 10.5"

    Back rise 14.5"
