Holy shit it has an external jacket sling!

I'm glad to see that the zip on the J44 doesn't go all the way behind the neck.
Still looks like it could be uncomfortable though... those metal zips are killer against skin.

I like the idea of them trying to make more accessories.
Perhaps not shoes. I'd like to see more things like belts, wallets, shirts and bags. It doesn't always have to be ultra-high end material. Just well-considered and designed with a consistent style.

It's an IKEA Pax. Very modular and customisable.

185cm is my height, and the P10-E is medium. I'm actually looking to sell it and replace it with a large (PM me if interested) because I'd prefer the longer leg. The P10-E is fine when standing and covers my boot, but quickly becomes misplaced when walking/sitting.

I have noticed that some of the CH (particularly in my P14) lost water repellency pretty quickly. So much so that I'm looking to re-treat it. Does anyone have any suggestions for an agent?

Looking at buying some but fear they'll be too small as I was hoping they'd be closer to 38" waist and with a little stretch if possible esp the CH variants?
Any help in this area much appreciated.
In my experience, CH pants (and X-Fast) do not stretch at the waist. They do stretch everywhere else, but not at the waist. This is because the inner lining of the waist contains a non-stretch fabric (this doesn't apply to the P15 which doesn't have that lining)

Haven't seen anyone mention owning a J29B-WS yet. Does anyone here have one to share their thoughts on?

Wow unmen, fantastic look.
I'd never seen the GT-J16 before. That's an awesome model. There needs to be more insulated GT jackets.

Shout out to daniel for shipment of express Chocolate from Germany.
This morning the package arrived containing a tray of delectable "Katzenzungen", straight from Deutschland. Hassle free payment and delivery, as always.
Also the package contained a P10-E, which is nice.

Like a lot of brands, you can't generalize fit with acrnm.
Interops jackets like J1A fit huge to allow for the 3a. Non-interops jackets like the J43 fit signifantly slimmer. I'm 5'7 and 140lbs and my J43 fits great, but my J1A-LP is pretty tent-ish.
J43 is Interops, same as J1. J1 was released in 2001, and J43 released 2014, so there's ~13 years of change in style and cut between them.
It's not the only variation though. J38 is a good example. Although it's Interops (for S and GT), it's still cut on the same block as non-Interops sartorial models like J29. So while it *does* provide the ability to wear it with a 3A, you can't really load up massive messenger bag under it. It's more designed for the 11TS which is a very small bag.

On the topic of shoes, I'm looking for advice on a style of shoe that would go nicely with the olive P10
I've already got some nike hyperfeels, and they suit the P10 look when the cuffs are zipped up. What I'm really looking for here is something more casual or even business-y that suits the look of the P10 with the cuffs open. Similar to how the P10 is styled with boots in this picture:
I'm not after any particular brand or model of shoe, just a style that would work well with it.

ss15?, most likely not.
Because those photos would have been taken 5 months ago, right? So these must be FW-1516.
It doesn't really look like a SS season. Too many hooded and long-sleeved jackets.

do stotz etaproof and epic stretch at all?
Nope, they're rigid knits. No stretch.

That would certainly justify the CH identifier.

Surely the tags inside the garment indicate the origin of the material?

Awesome info SuE, thanks!
How would you describe the Micro Twill fabric, as compared to other CH textiles?

Acronym.

Optional is awesome! Makes everyone happy. People who want it have it, people who don't can ignore it. Some recent-ish jackets had external, such as GT-J28.
Yes! Sleves should always be either grav pockets or tumb anchor.
I think they're extremely useful. Not because you can flip stuff out into your hand. In fact I almost never do that. People overlook the fact that a gravity pocket is also a sleeve pocket, and sleeve pockets are awesome. I keep a smart card in mine so I don't have to pull out my wallet in the rain.
Can attest to this. I got my X-PAC MK2 from them.
