@youngofthesoonest - looks like you're gonna be even busier soon! Congrats.
Pretty much been on a version of this fit past 2 weeks now.
Companion Denim jacket / Tender (woad) 129s / redwings. Jacket recently had it's first wash after 2.5 yrs occasional wear. It's a nice HBT and is coming alive a bit.
thanks! we're enjoying our last couple weeks before we disappear for a while lol

I’ve never own Aldens before, do they tend to run big? I’m a true 10.5 in most shoes. I’ve got my eyes on a pair on eBay rn but have been burned by purchasing shoes online a lot recently. Can’t get the sizing right.
trubalance I go half size down and it's super comfortable. barrie I went half down too but it's a little tight near the forefoot. I probably should've gone a half size up to accommodate my feet being slightly wider towards the toes.

These would be so dope in the white foil denim!
I really hope they do something like that some point...the white foil is so cool. I'd def buy doubles of that like im' about to buy doubles of the white denim slip ons. I dont have the mental capacity to tie laces these days.

I follow the advice of Tom HaverFord when it comes to fashion.

Follow-Up:
I did finally manage to pull the Lot 54 BB into position and get them buttoned.
Whats your opinion on fashion trends for 2022? Do you think the muffin top look (with belly fat spilled over the beltline) might make a comeback?
If it does, then I am claiming credit for the trend.
the muffin top look most definitely in fashion right now but only if you are shirtless with a tshirt tan. you're welcome.

It's the same concept I think as denim...each brand is different on why their knits are priced a certain way and it all depends on if it matters to you...construction methods can vary, some brands get fancy with ribbing design, dyeing methods, weight, etc.
I wear hoodies a lot and have owned a bunch of hoodies/sweatshirts from a bunch of different brands...reigning champ, champion, American giant, wings and horn, 3sixteen, strike gold, merz b Schwanen, iron heart, SDA, Stevenson. I think the most important thing for me is the fabric having some some give without using stretch and without being super thin.
The hoodies I ended up loving the most and wear all the time are my strike gold and iron heart hoodies. The strike gold are the most comfortable and the iron heart is the warmest by far. If I was forced to choose the one hoodie I'd wear forever, it'd be iron heart.
The knits I really dislike are the American Giant ones. I never found them to be that soft nor that warm. They just felt heavy and I hated taking off any of the pullovers and sweatshirts I had from them bc they had very little give to them. Knits is definitely where I realized that heaviness of a fabric really means very little other than that it's heavy. The rest of the ones I've owned were fine...I mostly ended up selling much of it bc the fit wasn't right for me. I remember buying reigning champ stuff and being a little disappointed by it...I think at the discounted prices you can find them at a lot of times, they're fine though.

wow, that's wild. I think I would've asked to just take my pants off to avoid any potential issues...I just imagine the buttons flying through the MRI machine like this scene: https://youtu.be/zbTyTyizz1s?t=24

Have you ever thought of taking style inspiration from Bobby or Jerry?

I took 2 days off from reading forums and came back to some real excitement. Glimpses of old school Sufu shaking up our denim “finer things club” haha
Anyways back to denim.
took a mini vacation without the kid and visited some museums in LA. I took a picture with my zodiac animal.
papa nui hat, Marusankakupeke jacket, EXCEL tshirt, samurai baker pants, Rick Owens ramonesmy inspiration for the fit is apparently “john Mayer but a little less expensive”

I picked up the samurai 15oz satin back baker pants. The fabric feels fairly dense. I’m looking forward to see how it ages with wear and regular washing. I washed this chore coat again and it’s aging more rapidly with each wash now.

I think you'll be good as long as the polka shells stay in the drawer.
I skipped pooka shell necklaces and went the metal anal bead necklace route instead.

^ hat + jacket game is strong! I'm always too slow off the mark for Troy O'Shea's small runs through his site, but have quite a few of his made from old shelter halves through Papa Nui. Yours was the pick of that recent bunch!
yeah same I keep missing out on them. I wanted to get the indigo 5 panel but i got distracted while checking out and then forgot. classic goldfish brain.

I also the Roy natural indigo denim workshirt in size small...looking for a medium.
