  1. The acr influence is very obvious, and a lot of their offerings is a more affordable styles similar to some of acr offerings. I'm fine with it if it allows them to survive and bring more original pieces like they are showing this season already, it takes a brand many years to develop an identity and i'm counting this as their second real season to be taken seriously. I think they are going in a very good direction and slowly developing a design language of their own - as this collection shows a lot more than only black cargos.

  2. If you're from Japan, then you can order from acrnm.com - same as everyone. They don't need to care about a particular market, because if someone from there won't buy it, someone else will - they only have a limited amount of pieces.

The price increase is not based only because they feel people will pay it anyway - it's the only way to grow and earn more if you can't actually produce more.

  3. It's very simple - they can't produce more, so the only way to get more is to raise the prices - and people are ready to pay those prices. If not you, then someone else will get it, and E knows it - they worked hard to get there.

Also I don't know why they sell through retailers at this point. If they have only a certain amount of pieces, they would make more money selling them all directly through acrnm.com - and I guess that's what they figured for the next season. The stores aren't really creating any exposure for them that would help at this point.

  4. It still bears his name, so I think he has a say on what goes in the collection, even though he doesn't design it personally. I was a big fan of BBS, but what's going down with 11 is hugely detriemental to the entire BBS brand image. The first collection was quite promising but it went downhill from there - we keep seeing the same parka pattern after XXX seasons, just with ugly ass marihuana drawings this time.

  5. 1. No, Stotz has no stetch, so the articulation doesn't rely on stretch, however it's still more an aesthetical thing than it actually helps. The Dryskin version is infinitely more comfortable.

    2. I don't think anybody has taken apart their p10 to get a pattern for them. Try pants from other brands, nike acg or enfin leve would be the current best alternatives.

  6. I think they will make you pay the return shipping back to them for sure, which is like a lot more than shipping it your way - email them to be sure though

  7. That Ikea joke is so dead by now. Antwerp academy students been doing that shit since 10 years, every year  the same...

Looking for a cool military poncho - has anyone seen one? (I've seen the y3, don't like it too much)
