  1. I just got a pair of Outlier x Feit. They seem like quality, but absolutely need to be broken in before them are comfortable. So for that reason I would not buy them and throw them in some old pair of shoes.

Sue - Can you post some pics of your Outlier x Feit shoes? I would love to see how they have held up.

  2. I'm generally an s in american brands and have a size s ranger lt that fits me perfectly (38" chest). I just overlooked the part where they mention they intend the henley as a base layer. It being a more classic, non-technical design, i wasn't expecting a next to skin fit.

FYI The chest on M is 37" inches.

  3. So my triple aught design huntsman merino henley arrived today. Awesome piece, construction is top notch but size s turns out to be too small for me. If you're in EU, take it off my hands and dodge import taxes + more modest shipping costs.

How did you size, compared to your tee size?

Just got mine today also. I went off my t-shirt size and got a M. It fits but I want it to be looser, ordered a large. Wish they still had grey in L in stock.

  4. They didn't invent the windstopper. What they did do is make it pack into itself. It also has the jacket sling. I f-ing love the jacket sling.

Packable jackets are fkn awesome! Plenty of other companies have packable jackets though, sling is cool too.

  5. How does SISP fit? I get the impression from HAVEN's measurement table that they're quite slim/small.

Haven is pretty accurate on sizing, there model is really thin though, so I would put that into consideration.

  6. Outlier is probably my 2nd favorite clothing brand below Flat Head. There are a lot of companies that make logo free merino tees, swrve would be my first choice under Outlier. If you need them and are only rocking one tee! just buy some other brands s**t

  7. Sooooo...what the hell happened to Outlier's site? Bunch of photos were removed by legal request. I guess there must have been a falling out with at least one of the photographers they use.

In other news, plan on picking up a pair of the ultralight summer trousers for work and a short sleeve pivot shirt for summer. I am growing tired of looking for alternative shirting that fits me and is made well. I discovered the arms on an Outlier shirt that fits me through the chest (xs) was comically short in the arms by approximately 3 inches or so. Thus, a short sleeve instead.

How has the full suit been looking? I remember seeing that we had a few takers in this thread, yes?

Posted on twitter they were shooting new photos.

  8. RJB doesn't allow their stuff to be sold online other than from stores like Self Edge.  And thank you Kyle!

DC4 and Rivet and Hide have RJB. I need this god damn beautiful black/grey hickory western denim shirt. Very Badly!  :)

  9. Thanks you guys! If the sized down Keirins won't work out for me, I'll buy some Climbers in various sizes.

Climber and Kerlin cuts are very different in measurements. I think the guys above me have had them from past seasons. If anyone has noticed their waist sizing has changed this season pretty drastically.

    I am a 30.5 waist measured

I wear 29 in SDs and a 31 in climbers from this season.

28 in three ways shorts from last season, and now a 30 this season.

30 OGs from 2 seasons ago that are huge compared to my correct size of 29 new OGs from this season.

Use there return service to full extent, I am at 5 returns in the past 2 months, and finally found that climbers in 31 are the best pair for me.

  10. I need a recommendation for a blazer. I want it to be a all season blazer so nothing heavy, and preferably have elastane in it, more then 2%. Water resistant is a plus, but does not need it. I like outliers but don't like navy, and really don't want to wait till they release a new color.

Color in ranges of black, and grey budget is $400.

  11. Are you talking about the Baselayers or the T-Shirts? You can't see nipples on the T-Shirts except possibly the Near White. The Baselayers you can but it has nothing to do with thinness, they are designed to fit significantly tighter than the T-Shirts and be worn as an undershirt, plus the ribbed knit stretches more. For wearing like a tee I'd recommend sizing up and your nipples will vanish, or just waiting for the actual T-Shirts to return (should be soon, no black though due to a fuck up beyond our control).

As for weight/thinness, the Baselayer fabric is 200gsm while the T-Shirt fabric is 190gsm, while most other companies seem to be focusing on the 150-160gsm range for the bulk of their goods.

I am interested in the new henley type tees.

Thanks, for the info. I will have to order one "sized up" and see how it is.

  12. I must say, this is looking really good.

They are blowing Outlier away on marketing without a doubt.

Besides that it looks very decent and the pricepoint is nice. Not the same as Outlier but they are getting in each others waters now. It's going to be interesting to see which way it will go with both brands.
