Got a Clever Dripper a month or so ago and I gotta say this is my favorite method so far. Super simple to use yet the coffee is consistently good.

Posted this in the NYC thread, but if anyone is around the city this weekend, Patrik Ervell is having a sample sale. It'll probably have all the stuff from the last few seasons that they did not sell.

Tried a 14-minute Aeropress brew a few days ago. Surprisingly good.

Not sure if anyone's interested but there's a Patrik Ervell sample sale tomorrow (26th) through Sunday from 11am-6pm.
This is happening again this weekend. Same time and location.

That's fine, I probably will not be getting into pour overs for a while. I got myself the Aeropress and it's amazingly easy to make good cups with it.

Recently finished Oniisama e... If you can get past the 1990 low budget animation, it was a well thought out story with twists in almost every episode and great character development. Starts a bit slow, though.

Got myself a Hario Skerton grinder and it definitely improved the taste of both my french press and coffee machine brews. Looking into modding it so it does french press grinds better and getting an Aeropress.

Thanks for the advice, I'll make sure the roasting date is good.

Just getting into coffee—gonna get a grinder soon. I have a french press as well. Where can I get good beans? I live in NYC (Columbus Circle area). There's a lot of independent coffee shops around that have beans for sale. I'm assuming any of those are good for a beginner? There's also a Whole Foods nearby with a lot of different types of beans, but I am not sure if they are good or not.

Can anyone ID this jacket? Thanks in advance.

Do you guys think stuff will sell out at the 5th Avenue store quick? Stuff always sells out instantly online, but I am not sure about actual stores.

That duffle coat is spot on. I've heard pricing ranging from $40-$250. I'd assume that duffle's going to run in the $200+, which is fine for a coat, but for Uniqlo that seems a bit steep, even with the Jil Sander attachment.
It's $230.

I wasn't around for the first Jil Sander x Uniqlo collab, but I am assuming that it'll be the same as back then.

Yup, getting the coat and that shirt at the very least. Both look really nice.

^ That includes the online site right?
Forgot where but I read that it is going to be online as well.

I've been eyeing the Fujifilm x20 for months but never got around to getting one. Apparently it's been discontinued in favor of a new x30 coming out this month. Would looking around the Internet for good deals on used x20s be a good idea, or is there a better non-SLR camera between $300-$500?

Yup, Anonymousism is great, and they are not too expensive.

Hey guys, I basically do not get acne anymore but I have acne scars and blemishes from when I was younger. What's a good way of dealing with these?

Ha, true, but I figured someone might be interested.
The Class Room is still having their Winter sale. Not much left though.

Uniqlo is having a sale for Valentines. Haven't looked into it much but their cashmere-cotton sweaters are $20.

I have some very old Desert Boots I got when I was 15. I still wear them from time to time they look fine except for the sole. Can I take them to a cobbler and have them resoled? Also, what kind of sole should I get?
Thanks.
