  1. 601XX-C 1937 pre-wash, ~7 months of wear and 2 washes. Currently drying after the wash, so I'll get some photos up tomorrow once they're dry.
  2. @UkeNo The fabric is very lightweight and crispy, very breathable and suitable for the summer months. It's also pretty flat, no irregularity to it. I don't think this one will fade/age like a sateen or a denim, the weave is much tighter than both of those. I'd say it's closer to a poplin or chino. I suspect over time the sheen will wear and subside a bit, I'll wash it soon and report back.
  3. Pre-wash measurements for the 504xx size 46. Chest: 27.5 in. Shoulder: 24 in. Sleeve: 25 in. Length: 32 in. And post warm wash plus some time in the dryer. Chest: 25.75 in. Shoulder: 23 in. Sleeve: 24 in. Length: 30 in. I think this shrank up perfectly, when trying it on unwashed I was sure that it wouldn't shrink enough. Denim is lightweight and pliable after the wash and dry, I can see myself wearing this a lot once fall rolls around. Still trying to determine the best place to take fit pics in the new house, excuse the crappy angle (and shoe boxes that I need to put away). L2: This might be my ideal jacket for spring / fall, very lightweight and ample room for layering if I want to throw a sweatshirt on underneath.
  4. @AlientoyWorkmachine No, I believe it is the same denim as the 601XX-C 1937 jeans and 506xx 1933 jacket released last fall.
  5. I'll get some photos of the closed front jumper worn posted soon. @tjsma I think it's a little misleading since they posted fit photos of the unwashed version (the O/W model should be available soon). I haven't washed it yet, since honestly I won't be able to wear most of this stuff for a few months given that it's summer. When trying it on unwashed, the shoulders and sleeves seem good and should shrink up nicely, but the body length is quite long so I'm hoping for a good bit of shrink there. I'll also remember to take some pre and post wash measurements. Something I normally forget to do.
  6. New batch of stuff arrived, I can provide more detailed photos of anything if anyone is interested. Just don't want to clog up the thread too much. Cotton / linen CPO. Special edition L2. This might be my favorite of the bunch and I've never really been a flight jacket guy... 506xx 1922. 504xx 1915 closed front jumper. Powerwear sweatpants. Jadeite mug.
  7. Joining in on the Birk love, this is a pair of Bostons that I've had since maybe 2016. Worn mostly to take the dog out or for quick errands. Don't really do much with them in regards to care, just lathered them up with some Obenauf's as they were looking a bit tattered. And a pair of Rancourt Ranger Mocs that I got back in 2020 when they were running a crowdfunding promo. Similarly to the Birks I don't ever do much with these, these are also freshly coated with Obenauf's. Probably would look nicer if I put shoe trees in 'em, but I can't be bothered...
  8. Should have a few goodies to share soon, including the 504XX. Will post some photos soon. 601XX-C 1937 due for another wash soon. Been washing a little less frequently to develop some more contrast. Really like the grainy denim used on these, but they do get pretty loose after a couple weeks of wear. And I know most people probably think these are lame, but I get a lot of use out of them since it's hot as hell here. 601XX 1951 cutoffs, washed every couple of weeks and sent through the dryer.
  9. @indigoeagle Haven't tried Asahi yet, I do have fairly wide feet (I'm a US 12 in MiUSA New Balance which are known for being wider). I've also heard mixed things on the quality. They seem pretty affordable if purchased from Japan directly, but they're also difficult to track down in 29 cm.
  10. Same problem I have with more Japanese footwear, they don’t make up to size 12.
  11. Much appreciated b_F, sounds like I should skip out on the RoF. Their prices are a bit bonkers... I admittedly know very little about the history of the GAT, is there a specific original German brand that I should be searching for instead?
  12. Anyone have experience with US Rubber sneakers? I like their new deck shoe a lot, just curious if anyone has tried out their stuff. My wife said "they just look like Vans...why don't you buy Vans?" And to be fair she's not wrong... Also, @beautiful_FrEaK how are the Reproduction of Found GATs? Do they fit true to size? I've been looking for the Panna color in size 12 / 46 but they seem hard to track down in that size.
  13. @mstax Yes I believe so, but I am not 100% sure. Perhaps Duke could chime in?
  14. Neil chambray from 2017. Probably one of my most regularly worn shirts, elbows are starting to go.
  15. @indigoeagle Seiichiro will definitely get you N/W if it is available! I believe he does stock some N/W models, not sure how much he has on hand in relation to O/W models though.
  16. @indigoeagle these were non-wash, the denim used is a bit more rigid than the standard 47/51 denim but less rigid than the 44/45 war era jeans / jackets.
  17. Almost done with the move, I've got a back yard to take photos now. 601XXC 1937 worn since November / December, one initial wash and two subsequent washes. Aiming to get a little more contrast with these, but it's tough since they are pretty loose.
  18. Butcher Products Flying B in dark navy.
  19. @MJF9 interesting observations, must have been some tweaks to the pattern along the way. I wore the navy one yesterday, neck opening is a tad bit bigger than WH. I'll work on some fit pics, likely will have to wait until after we're moved into our new place. Packed a ton of boxes yesterday so the current place is in varying states of disarray.
  20. @unders Not sure if you have any experience with Warehouse tees, but they're no tighter than the neck opening on those. I'd say they're much more forgiving than Flat Head THC tees too, which are about the smallest I've experienced. Initial impression is that they look snug but are actually pretty forgiving, might have to do with the silk thread.
  21. @MJF9 I missed this year's initial batch but there was a stealthy restock recently, there are actually still a few sizes / colors available now! Fingers crossed that more colors are made in the future.
  22. Picked up a few of the YM Factory tees, very happy with the fit / fabric / construction. They are made by rebuilt.jp, he uses vegetable dyes to dye the threads and also uses silk thread on the neck opening as it is more flexible than some other alternatives. These might dethrone Warehouse as my favorite t-shirts.

    Warehouse

@mstax Freewheelers just sent out a restock of their type 1s, always a good option. The WH one I have is great too, they’re just a little harder to come by in 46/48. Also worth checking out Yahoo Auctions, I see them pop up in size 46 every now and then.
  24. Haven't been posting much lately, busy focusing on moving in a couple weeks time. Excited to have a backyard for the pup and some better lighting for fit / fade pics! So far I've filled up two boxes worth of jeans / trousers alone...

    Warehouse

They do stock these in 46/48 from time to time, I purchased mine in size 46 direct from Warehouse a few years ago. My understanding is that they just don't make those sizes all the time in their regular production runs.
