  1. Nice work everyone!! sorry I've been MIA for a while now. I still lurk often but haven't been in a mood for posting in a while.
Since april 16th we're stuck at home in quarantine. My wife has been positive to Covid19, luckily no major consequences, but after nearly a month she's still positive and we're all confined at home.

Today she made her 4th covid test and I really hope this is going to be the one that puts the word end on our quarantine...

please send good vibes : )

Damn! Genoa jeans! being from the city of Genoa and a proud supporter of Genoa FC I've tried for years to find a pair, but I had no look. I'm very envious!

Or you have to buy a pair to verify this observation  ;)

I think we all gladly leave the scientific approach to you my friend ; ) Go on and get some, for the sake of science!

^ ebay is your best bet. Usually they are bought by cobblers and shoemakers in bulk and are not readily available for peasants like us :D
    https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Vibram-2021-Casual-Wedge-Soles-1-Pair-/254527062855 (2021)
    or maybe directly through them?
    https://www.vibram.info/vibramrepair/catalogo.php?numero_pagina=9&inizio=240&selezionate=&ricerca=&articoli_per_pagina=30&categoria_master=qyqfsktr&id_compound=1

    or etsy
    https://www.etsy.com/de/listing/962628035/vibram-2060-casual-sole-one-pair (2060)
Basically a pain in the arse to get them, if you are not in the shoe-biz...

indeed, I just wanted to avoid shipping from the US for a pair of sole made by an Italian brand haha. Those are the two only direct links I've found. I know some cobblers have them but not the small Italian cobbler that I wanted to use. Wijsman in the Nederlands has the 2021 but he quoted me 110 eur plus shipping both ways for the resole, it does make sense for a stitched resole, it seems a lot to just glue a gum sole.

  5. Indeed my friend, indeed.

I am wearing them and mulling over a resole for aesthetic reasons, I don't like the gloxicut sole and I pray to not step on a dig shit with that sole haha.

Any pointers on where to cop vibram 2021 or 2060 soles in Europe? Vibram is an Italian company but oddly enough Vibram Italy doesn't seem to sell the 2021nor the 2060. I have found a decent local cobbler that would resole them for a very reasonable price, but he has only the Vibram Christy/Morflex which I dislike almost as much as the gloxicut.

@volvo240thebest - If you're still in Rome, do as the romans (and tourists) do and go visit the Villa Borghese. The David by Bernini is stunning.

I'm back alread. I've done that a couple times though, years ago.
