  1. Two sizes up will fit great with some stretch. If I was going to get another pair, I would go up three sizes because I prefer my jeans a little loose. I have a 33 and it's a "perfect" fit meaning I can break it in and wear it without a belt after stretch. I prefer the feeling of a waist and thigh that don't require stretch and just fit comfy right out of the wash. I also prefer an 8.75" LO minimum. For that I would go up three sizes to a 34 rather than the 33 I own.
  2. The jacket is killer. I would be reluctant to buy that pant without trying it on first. It could be great. It could be one of those styles that even in the right size, it still doesn't fit. I think I could find the fit with the luxury of playing with a few sizes, but I don't have that luxury.
  3. @heyson, Roy said to contact Tilden directly. Not sure if that's via email or DM, but whatever's available I'm sure would be fine.
  4. @shredwin_206 I saw those. They also have that odd U-shaped belt loop. They're not for me, but happy to see Roy getting in there and contributing to jeans manufacturing in ways that are still fun for him.
  5. @Bowler Even when TCB made matching jackets at the launch of the S40s jean and contest, they were not interested in a fade contest for the jacket.
  6. I can't wear non-Drake's pants at work, but I would buy-in if the jean was cool. Wearing around work means no real shot at winning, but it's still fun to participate. I actually love the full, relaxed fit mentioned in the TCB main thread. Not really sure that's up TCB's alley though. We'll see!

@CharlieMike, yes, laundromat washer and tumble dryer.

    Warehouse

    @CharlieMike, funny enough, I have exactly that from the contest prize with Signet. Pre-wash/Post-wash & tumble Warehouse Deadstock Blue 1001XX/1000XX 33 Waist: 34” / 31” Front Rise: 13.25” / 12.5” Back Rise: 17” / 16.25” Thigh: 12” / 11.25” Knee: 9.75” / 9.25” Leg Opening: 9” / 8.5” Inseam: 34.75” / 32.25”
  10. Jelado has really been pushing into my Instagram lately and it's reminded me that they make some cool stuff, but completely lack a brand identity that inspires me to invest in their version of the same thing.
  11. Yeah, if you're only measuring to confirm what your eyes already saw, there's a problem. Lucky for you, it's one leg too long rather than one leg too short. Do you have anywhere you can get them chain stitched again? Lots of options in the US.
  12. @KarlHavoc I would need to see the pants on you to give you any feedback. Inseam on jeans is only measured from one side as there is a bit of asymmetry to the construction through the crotch and seat. If they're draping much longer on the right side, then you have a problem.
  13. I would really like to get another pair of 2001s. My friend brought me a pair back from Japan around 2013, but they're just a bit too small for how I prefer my jeans to fit these days. But that cut is so unique with its excessive hip flare and enormous back pockets yet somehow maintaining a proportional balance that still fits well. I actually really enjoyed the No. 2 denim. It was soft and washed well for a sanforized product. I would take any standard indigo denim I can find in my size, the right condition (lightly worn is fine) and at the right price. I'll have to try out Yahoo JP auctions. I've never ventured there out of concern for my wallet.
  14. @tooth, I'm not totally sure what they're referring to when they label it "super smooth." The 11.5oz fabric is noticeably softer than the 13.75oz though. I think they used that same 11.5oz for the washed SS24 stuff as well, but I don't know for sure.
  15. @FurnitureMaker, they all drape beautifully and are comfortable, easy to wear garments. Fullcount's fabric is what I love most about its jeans. That remains the same in the Kimo Not. I personally wouldn't wear it from a style standpoint. I tend to go with subtlety that in combination creates strong visual coherence, but it's a cool piece. And honestly, if I was gifted that set, I'm sure I would get comfortable wearing that as an outfit after a couple of wears. The 11.5oz fabric for these SS24 releases is unreal. I have the rinsed jacket and 0105 on order for February-ish delivery. I'm interested to see how that weight wears in summer compared with the 13.75oz. Not sure if the difference will be appreciable, but I'm excited to find out.
  16. Pretty stoked to be featured in Fullcount's SS24 Lookbook. I do a bit of this stuff for the brands I've worked for and different photographer friends over the years, but never for a brand like Fullcount that I've worn for a decade and truly loved as just a cut above the other jeans makers out there. Honored to participate alongside the others and see this come to life.
  17. I ended up scooping these up. They'll be on th short side, but not too short to wear. Looking forward to having a pair to break in.
  18. Thanks @julian-wolf! I found the drop down menu on my phone. For some reason it doesn't appear in the page that loads into the browser on my computer. How much did they ultimately sell for on Self Edge? Honestly, $595 and $695 for new with tags seems very reasonable all things considered. And $350 for a one wash? That was a steal. You gotta wash the damn things to wear 'em anyway. Haha. I'm afraid it looks like they may all come up too short for you, Julian. They were mostly meant for Roy himself to wear and it appears he's much shorter than you. But maybe there'll be a random long-length pair in there for you. Seriously, good luck! I have the Foreman Chino and some version of the Black Seed denim (can't be bothered to go dig them out to confirm the model). If I came across a $350 pair though, I would definitely get it. I wear 32 in most of his cuts.
  19. @scooby, I see. I'm not getting a drop down menu anywhere on the page. Not overly bothered by it. Just curious to see what goes up.
  20. @julian-wolf bit by bit, as he can, all day.
  21. I've gotten the site to load, but I have yet to even see a pair for sale. Haha.
  22. @julian-wolf www.roydenim.com Good luck.
  23. Yes, it's the wide version of 0105. I have them in 31. I have the old tapered version of 0105 in a 30. I would guess that the 31 in actually spot on at about an inch bigger in the waist, so they're sizing the same. It stretches the same too, quickly, easily and a little more than a half inch. I tried on the SS24 11.5oz 0105 and Type 1 the other day. It's unbelievably soft and drapes beautifully. I have one of each on order for their release this spring. I don't know what sizes as the samples fit perfectly and I just said "whatever those sizes are."
  24. @vIGGiou riou They've probably got about 5 months of daily wear over those 10 months. I think I've washed them about once for every month, maybe once more than that so 5 or 6 washes.
  25. Some 0105's that have been in rotation about 10 months. Still the best fabric I've worn over the last 15+ years.
