Did it stretch back to raw or get a little bigger?

I like my 710s but really wish the hem was slightly larger. They are a 38x33 one wash. If I get a 38x36 and have them hemmed to the same inseam length would I be able to achieve a larger leg opening?

The inseam shrunk by half an inch? The rest of the jeans didn’t shrink much at all
