  1. Can't believe I was silly enough not to buy a $32 round trip ticket to Portland. :/ I can still travel to Portland or Vancouver via train for ~50.00 round trip from Seattle. I should do that soon. Just so you Portland people know, looks like it is the same for you (if you want to visit Seattle.)

    My daily watch.

Watch history thus far: Nixon Time Teller P in all white, Nixon Time Teller in stainless steel (removed all hair from my wrist in a most painful manner), and now this Skagen. If looking to graduate up in the next year or so, I am trying to figure out what would serve my needs best. A submariner-style watch in stainless steel with a black face is my current desired design.

Options that seem to carry designs along this line and under $400 include MWC, Seiko, and Mt. Rainer Design. Any experience, thoughts, and/or competitors that would offer a better product?

  3. Most of them have been mentioned...lets see. Jack Straw is probably going to be the closest to SuFu tastes (Dries Van Noten, CDG, Engineered Garments, Junya), Blackbird in Ballard (Rick Owens, Siki Im, Geller, A.P.C., Wing + Horns, Filson), Red Light Vintage on broadway has some decent stuff if you pick through (I have a Dior tie, and I've seen vintage YSL, Lanvin and other labels as well), Barney's, Nordstrom, still don't know anywhere to get the latest sneaker drops with the exception of Jordan/Nike at Nike Town, Asher Goods in Kirkland, and my workplace, Paul Richards Clothing in Bothell, could work for a taller/larger guy. Pretty trad menswear. We order in Allen Edmonds shoes, have a wall stacked with Italian socks, carry St. Croix american-made knits and sweaters, and for shirting we have some Etons left, stock Robert Talbott, and carry some other shirts in a tighter fit. That's about all I have found so far.

  4. I enjoy White Mountaineering but I can't find a piece where I would want to save up for it instead of buying more Outlier, for example. I would be more tempted to save for Nanamica, Arcteryx Veilance, SISP, or Acronym before White Mountaineering due to their exceptional functionality. I guess it feels overpriced more than other brands. Socks especially. I can get patterned merino socks for $10-$12 rather than $50 for a 80% acrylic, 10% nylon, 8% wool, 2% cashmere sock. If this blend has any specific performance attributes I am unaware of someone feel free to correct me. But yeah. Just my thoughts on white mountaineering. I would, however, have probably done whatever it took to acquire the White Mountaineering BLK tees. Mannnnnnn. Those still look great.6p6mAoi.jpg

Mountain tee, then birds, then forest. But I love them all.

  5. As a person with allegies, having an ID bracelet would allow paramedics to administer aid in a dire situation more quickly. I have been looking around for a good ID bracelet, and the only ones I have come across from fashunz are the MMM brass ID bracelets. These would work out great on larger guys, but I feel if it doesn't look deliberately oversized it will just make my tiny wrists sad. Any suggestions?

  6. Oh Japan. You just make me happy inside whenever I see your clothes.

Blackwatch Gore-tex. Yup. I've always loved patterned outerwear. My grail right now is easily the forest print jacket from Undercover.

    Lol?

  7. Made up a word document for this. If everyone who is interested could please PM me their hat size I will continue to take down sizes until we have 24, then have a final call for people to get in on getting a hat. After this final call, I will email the Ebbets representative with the number of each size that we want. Burgundy/Creme is our colorway, and I will discuss the font for the "S" when I email Ebbets. Nominations for the font go in this thread. Lets roll.

  8. Wholesale pricing starts at 24 pieces. If I were to help organize this, it would be my first time doing so and I would like it to go as smoothly as possible. If anyone has done this in the past, I would sincerely appreciate a PM to clarify the process.

How the process looks like in my head:

    1) Ensure that we have 24 people down for purchasing a SuFu x Ebbets hat.

    2) Determine whether or not that custom order has to be all Burgundy/Creme (as that seems to be the most popular colorway choice) or if we could purchase 16 burgundy/creme and 8 (insert second most popular colorway here)

    3) Determine fund management. This is where I would be the most inexperienced and curious. I wouldn't want to send money over the internet to a stranger. Can we all send individual payments to Ebbets, and once the hats are all paid for they start production?

    4) ???

    5) WAYWT stunting.

  9. See Krackrox, that's a much more constructive way of doing things. I will definitely go and listen to your list. I like Dinosaur Jr. a ton already, Beach Boys go without saying, Aquemini is a great album, and I will listen to Black Sabbath.

P.S. I have been listening to music worth listening to for probably two years tops. Any album suggestions are welcomed.
