Anyone heard of a Breakwell seedling apple? I hope they taste better than this Dunkerton cider....notes of fruit and band aids. I don’t normally drink cider so if this is what it’s supposed to taste like, it was really good. Semper Fi.

@unders yeah a socially distanced metal show definitely wouldn’t be the same.

I saw Pallbearer a few years ago. They put on a pretty good show, doom with a touch of prog...not too harsh for us older metalheads.

Still haven’t shipped my amp to get fixed yet, my wife is going to kill me if I keep putting it off...hopefully it’s not a big problem to repair. 
I have an old back up system that’ll work in the meantime.

Here’s a clip of the last show I saw before lockdown 2/22/20. John Brannon of Negative Approach. Not everyone’s cup but his band  was a pioneer of hard core punk outside of NY and LA in the US.  

I couldn’t believe how fucking still the crowd was.. this clip was about 2 mins before my old ass started the mosh. No shit, he personally thanked me for it when the show was over.

Sized up two sizes from my normal on the 713 for a looser fit. 

Is there much difference in the 713 and the 710? Other than the 713’s lower rise? Are they made with the same denim? I noticed some have a paper patch and others have leather.

I bought these at a small store in Narita, was looking for 710 but they didn’t have my size. 

I would sell those OOE 2’s and buy a surfboard.

I’ll be making an exception to my 75 degree tolerance for the TCB contest though. 

@Broark I don’t know how you wear jeans in that heat. Anything over 75 I need shorts. You’re a real trooper. Keep up the good work.

Solid system. I almost bought those Rega speakers but went with Spendor A4s (another impressive British brand). I’ve been wanting to try one of their CD players, for now just using a Rega P6 turntable. 

@unders I saw Sleep twice, once on 4/20 a couple years ago, they opened with 30 mins of Dopesmoker. Al’s bass drone made my wife nauseous haha ...I enjoyed it. I’m lucky to live close to a small metal bar in Brooklyn that brings in a lot of lesser known acts as well.    

Personally, I was impressed with the Brio after listening to it at a local record store. Decided to go with the larger Elicit though, absolutely no complaints with Rega’s sound.
 

I may be to blame for the malfunction of mine but that’s hard to believe considering the pretty straight forward operation of the power button (on/off)... I’ve just been putting off contacting the dealer to get the warranty straightened out.

Wino was in the band Shrinebuilder with one of my favorites, Al Cisneros from Sleep. I haven’t heard much from him otherwise. I’ll have to check him out. I dig your taste in metal @unders.

FYI, I never really knew how to play it either haha. The cards and pieces were really cool though.
