J28-GT, Medium, 9.9/10, selling for net of my cost if you can prove you've sold Acronym at cost or below cost before or if it's your first Acronym piece. Accordingly, with proof: $1500+shipping F&F; $1550+shipping invoiced. If you can't prove either, $1850+shipping F&F, $1905+shipping invoiced.

    we don't deserve you

  2. Does anyone have advice on replacing a shirt (not jacket) sling? I have 2 shirts that are missing them. On the off chance that anyone has extras, i'd be willing to trade a jacket sling for 1-2 shirt slings. Thanks!

I placed three orders on drop day for three separate items (P25H, SM1, J28).

I’ve gotten tracking numbers for two of the three items. I’m assuming it’s the two items I won’t need to pay duties for since they are both out of customs without issue and are on a truck to be delivered today (woo hoo!).

Past four drops it’s been like this for me. Items that require duties required more paperwork on the exporter’s end and they are slow with it. Sometimes takes up to 5 business days. Be patient.

    Thanks for the insight!

Judging from grailed, it looks like some people are getting orders from the main site, but I never got tracking (got payment+order conf).  Anyone else still missing tracking from acr?

seems like it's hit or miss, it's clear that some orders are shipping out. i'm in the same boat as you - order conf + payment conf but no tracking.

10 minutes well spent.  So is this an actual thing?  An official P25/P23A negative.

I wouldn't look at it that way. It honestly felt similar to the locking mechanism on the Prestos (which btw changed my entire life when I found out you could just flip the zipper pull upside down, lol).

You are totally right, i tried on P23A Size Small, it loosen immediately when i take my first step. I am 29-30 inch waist. Without tightening, the waist of P23A is more than 40

update to this: if you move the 'bunches' of fabric that accumulate on either side of the buckles, they seem to work a bit better. the fabric bunching seems to not allow the buckle to lay flat (which is what locks the straps in place)

sum1 talk 2 me bout the built in tightening mechanism of the p23a and p25h lollllllllll

best feature: self loosens while you're walking down the street

i've had reasonable luck w/ "locking" the buckle by pulling the inside of the buckle outwards (vs. pulling the outside of the buckle to loosen). spent like 10 minutes this AM fucking around with it.

My  P10-DS's are too big for me now around the waist (size L I have a pair of P24-S size S that fit comfortably) so I really need the P10's down to S and I don't really want to sell them I was wondering is it wise to have them taken in by the alteration man has anyone ever done that with a pair of ACR bottoms?

Also I see talk of the P14's restock and folk talking of sizing up there are still some P9-S's up in olive but in medium anyone have any knowledge on the fit don't want to buy them if they are going to be too big and how are they looking in real life colour wise dark, light?

p24s fit a size large in the waist, so you P10-DS in an m would prob be perfect for you

also: just wear a damn belt, that's why they exist ;)

anyone have any washing recommendations / instructions for stotz? Secondhand (thirdhand) P10A-S looks great - almost like new - but smells like sweaty ass..

Soak in large tub w/ Grangers. Reapply DWR (optional). Iron on warm setting. I've also washed Stotz in a washing machine, delicate cycle, grangers, in a laundry bag without issue.

The care tags are pretty clear with what should/shouldn't be done. The fabrics are hardy.

I find that restoring with nikwax/grangers seems to restore some colour after a wash, only issue is the smell lol

i always dry outdoors and proof when on the line

never had an issue but have learned the hard way with stotz ,very delicate fabric and less washing the better

Really? I had an old pair of P10-S that I had no problem throwing in the wash (delicate cycle, laundry bag, grangers) and then line-drying / reproofing. Generally speaking, it feels like people are a little too delicate with their ACR clothing..i mean, they are built to be hard-wearing.

Considered putting this in the sales thread, but it seems like that's just for listings. I'm curious how trades work in practice. I've only used the forum for one purchase in the past, but it seemed straightforward since there's a record of a transaction in paypal. Are there ways to handle them to make sure you're protected if the other guy never sends sends the item? Do you just rely on rep to verify the other person is trustworthy?

Another way you can go about this is by "selling" each other the item for the same price. This way you can leverage PayPal's buyer protection policy in case the other person doesn't ship. Make sure that the sale price is commensurate w the value of the item. You lose out on fees but the peace of mind is probably worth it.

    Regarding the J1TS-S:

I have tried on both S and M and am at a crossroads. I'm 6'0", 165 lbs, with an athletic build.

The S fits better overall except the armpits. Due to my tapered build, my chest/shoulders are a bit wider and cause the jacket to pinch into my armpits slightly. It's not terribly uncomfortable but it isn't ideal. I think if I wore it for an extended period of time it may start to restrict circulation and get to a point where taking off the jacket would feel good (but not necessarily feel bad while it's on). Again, the rest of it fits perfectly and this is generally how I like my clothes to fit (fitted to the body). The sleeves could use an extra inch though.

The M isn't huge on me but it is a lot roomier especially in the waist which I don't like aesthetically. Sleeves are just a bit too long by an inch and chest/shoulders are right for my body type.

I wish there was an in between size. Errolson please add more sizing options.

    What do I do?

This should be an easy question. I'm 5'8 but about 170, athletic build. If you're 6'0 you have no business being in a small lol. I think it's very unlikely that you'll fit a 58-ws in small, so if you ever want to layer a liner (trust me, you do), go w the M (it's what I did).
