x-post from the main thread
Time to do the monthly update! Almost halfway to the finishline now boys.
My Steel Feathers are holding up quite well. I've had to do some repairwork but I guess that's expected from 100% cotton threads.
The jawns are a little less blue in reality. I've tried to set it straight with a tad of vibrance adjustment but I didn't wanna go nuts with it.

Cool. You better visit sometime Somar! Barbecue and icecold beer at my place.
I think I've only been to the metropolis Degerfors once, can't remember what it looks like. Hm, I wonder if it was Banana Moon you bought it at. Or Najzprajz.Oh well, always fun to hear stories about people having connections to Örebro like this. Now back to denim business!

Max, that lake looks so much like one near my hometown. But I suppose you're not in Sweden?
Anyway, great updates boys!I'm gonna throw mine in the washer by the end of the month. Updates to come.0 -
^ Lucky bastards. We got hit with another round of snow the other day just when I thought spring was on it's way.

I hear what you're saying. Been cuffin and uncuffin quite a bit. I suppose I'm not used to go uncuffed these days.
For reference I'm ~180cm and the inseam is (or at least should be) 32". I'm usually cuffing up to somewhere around that length. We'll see how I decide to wear them when spring/summer shows up.

Finally got around to take some fitpics of the 1001XX in duck digger denim. I gave them a 40 degree wash after the last pictures I uploaded. The quality of the pics is crap but at least you get an idea of the fit until I manage to take some proper ones.
I've thrown in comparison pics on my one wash 1001. Sized down 1 on my 1001 to a 31 while the 1001XX is TTS.
1001 on the left.

yeah...he certainly did that
All puns intended.
Edit: Oh come on, I'm missing Bread & Butter by one day?! Guess I might stay in Berlin a few more days.

It feels a bit crazy even to think about a denim wishlist when two pairs of Warehouse, 1001 and 1001xx in duck digger denim, moved in a few weeks back.
But well, Fullcount 1108XX is still in my head since last summer.0 -
HWDC2 Meet Up
It is with a heavy heart that I must state that I will not be able to arrange or attend a meet up in the US this year due to personal circumstance. I work in an industry which supports the military and we have seen our budgets and hours drastically cut in the last 12 months, the upshot being my earning potential has greatly decreased, add this to the rise in flight prices and I simply cannot afford to bring my family over to the US. Coupled with this I have promised a friend whos wife is seriously ill that we will take a trip in Europe with them this summer. I hope you can all understand the difficulty of these circumstance.
I would like nothing better than for you guys to organise your own meets, and if anyone wants to step forward to get that done I will aid the entertainments/ budget budget as far as I can. My sincere apologies to anyone who feels let down.
There's no hard feelings Mega. We all know that life comes in between sometimes. You probably even pulled your hair until the very last minute to see if it'd be possible to squeeze in a trip to the US.
I'm probably going over to NYC in august with a mate anyway. Would be alot of fun is some other guys are still up for it though!
Oh yeah, I'll be in Berlin 4-7th july if someone's up for bingedrinking with a gang of 25 year olds.

Well to start with, is your current favorite a cut that resembles what you're gonna buy? If it is, then you'll be safe going by those numbers.
If you're still concerned about the sizing not being accurate here's what you can do:
1. Make sure you're measuring your pair in the same way as the store you're buying from does.
2. Send them an e-mail asking them to measure the exact pair you're buying.
3. Check a few different sites for measurements.

From what I've seen the Luhanko bros at Unionville do it quite well.

I'll keep the snowy picturestorm rolling. Do mind I only brought my phone with me out in the tracks.
During the weekend I visited some friends who's working at a skiresort called Stöten pretty much on the border between Sweden and Norway. Can't say I'm too happy leaving it behind and study for exams the upcoming weeks. But it was really nice to get out of the city for a few days.Foggy slopes
Crosscountry tracks were less foggy

Steel Feathers are kicking back at the moment due to repairs. Threads coming undone at the patch and on the outer seem at my left knee. All the biking the past 3-4 months have also weakended the fabric in the seat aswell developing a small hole.
Was hoping to get them done before I'm going away over the weekend but I did not.
And about Fanya's awsome pair - there's tons of time left. I recall some guys making massive progress the final 3 months in the previous competition.
Have a great weekend heavy champs!0 -
How about a rockstar challenge? Either doing it for real or editing the jeans into a picture like during Denim at the movies. It could also be combined with Max's idea of someone else wearing the jeans.

I'll be in Tokyo in 4 weeks. I'll only be in town for a minute but would love to grab a pair of jeans while I'm there so any jean shop recommendations are greatly appreciated.
Back in 2012 Paul_T did a little denim tour-guide for Tokyo on his blog. It gives you plenty of choices. Here's the blog: http://loomstate.co.uk/

Bobbo so you were the one who got that pair, u beat me to it, I was going to grab that pair too! Lucky you. Fit pics please, when you get the chance.
Pure luck man. At least you don't have to fight it out with me next time a pair shows up.
I'll definitely post some fitpics when I've soaked them.

Great to hear! Always a nice experience to deal with you wether it's just a simple question or a purchase - just how customer service should be in my book.
I suppose you're not very disappointed about your neighbours.
Best of luck with the new store!
