should I kop black or white sole?

 

 

Started skating recently after a break for 2 years. I used to be HEAVY into skating and I was never really good, but I shot photos of my friends in NYC.

Skate shoe designers are starting to reference early 2000's designs, which makes sense, since the history of skate shoe design is so short, and Vans and "oldschool" designs in general have been beaten to death. You can also see the influence of modern running/tech shoes.

Lets take some time to reflect upon the cup sole, tongue pocket, complex upper panels, lace protectors, oliie pads, and the bulkiness that was 2000's skate shoe design.

They have them at Bloomingdales on 59th St in ny. I'm sure they would ship them.

 

Just going check the Hong Kong Y-3 stores, I don't think Bloomingdales will ship to China.

The concept behind the shoe is pretty cool - Small, Medium, and Large cover the whole size range, so the outsole is modular. They are utilizing the sole for the Y-3 Kubo, which is in store now, and Adidas SLVR also released a lowtop with the same concept.

FLCL easily has the best soundtrack of any anime in my opinion, The Pillows crushed it. 

 

Couldn't agree more, shame it's such a short series. Or, maybe it was just enough.

EDIT: Julius SS14 Silk Shorts

 

I swear by these SS13 Y-3 shorts, the pockets are really functional, and the back zipper pocket is great for holding a passport or hotel room key(things you don't want to lose when walking around a city). 

 

There seems to be an iteration in the current SS line - "French Terry Shorts" without the flower detailing in the back.

 

I am 6'3" and wear a medium.

 

 

Track from FLCL, really great for when you are depressed.

 

 

The whole GITS Arise albums is worth a listen.
