Does anybody have experience importing raw denim? have you travelled somewhere and happened to pick up a roll ? how much did it cost you? any details would be appreciated. Im planninog to head to australia, i'd like to know if there are any links to mills etc.

wvpv - thighs on those 11" and what's the measurement like 2-3" below the front pockets?

They are pretty tight in the thigh region and i have skinny legs. Not sure the exact measurements.

I've got a pair of naked and famous deep indigo jean, size 28x34, i'm looking to size up and trade with someone who may have a 30 in something else. anybody? they are super nice jeans, i've worn them twice, the second time realizing they were too tight. they were around 160-170

Just bought a pair of apc petit standards, but im more interested in the look of Imperials.

Not too big of a fan on the traditional cut of the apcs, i want more of a low yoke nudie type fit like the thin finns

am i better off seling my apcs and going with the imperials? any other recommendations for a nudie thin finn type fit?

I have a brand new pair of APC Petit Standards for sale, waist size 27, never worn. Kinda splurged on them randomly but I am looking to sell these and buy Imperials instead. Purchased from Understudy shop in Calgary. Have original receipts, these are perfect if you are looking for a quality pair of selvedge raw denim. Just bought these yesterday, APC Petit Standard size 27

hello sufu. I am a waist size 29.5, was deciding between going with a sz 29 ns or 29 ps. Reason why I sized so close to tts is because my last pair of apcs, ns 27 were way too tight on me, even after 6 months of wear they never stretched to a comfortable size.

So I decided to buy ns 29 today and here is fit pics on me:

they were easy to button up, I can probably fit 2 fingers next to my hip for a tight fit. Are these going to stretch too much for me in the future? are the stacks going to settle? depending on responses, I will probably return these. Judging by my body type, do you guys think I should get ps29 or sz down 1 and get ns 28? Thanks in advance

size down, if you didn't even get any stretching on your 27's, you're not going to get any stretching on these either, especially when you can aready fit 2 fingers beside your hip. just go with a size that fits even if it means staying tts. if it looks good and you're comfortable, thats your best bet

i run a shop in saint paul called BlackBlue. My hands are always blue. i got into it by being super enthusiastic, learning everything i possibly could (these forums are good for that) and convincing people that they needed better fitting jeans. We plan on continuing to grow the business and increasing the raw denim presence in the twin cities.

there are ton of brand/shop owners here. Christian from Left Field, Kiya from Selfedge, William from Tender, Andrew from 3sixteen, Blue Owl workshop etc... they all follow/participate in the threads related to their brand/shop pretty actively.

did you start off working retail and basically learning the ropes as you went through experience?

I know nudies are known for their "low yoke" fits, what are some other raw denim brands that have the low yoke type fit like nudie

I’m a 34" waist, what size in Petit Standards would you guys recommend for me… 31 or 32?

I'm normally a 28/29. I just bought a 27 and I could barely do up the top button the first time I tried them on. If i were you, i wouldn't be scared sizing down one as they will stretch as mine have already.

Any of you members that post on sufu in the denim manufacturing/processing industry? Run your own local shop? Have your own line of denim products?

I'm interested to know where people have started out, or just simply share with the forum where you work at a clothing/denim shop or where you want to be in 5-10 years with it
