Can anyone tell me what exact bootzippers these are?
alternatives for 6" Nike sfb would also be cool.
    thanks

this is one of the first runs of the SFB and came with the zippers.

Does anyone know what kind of fabric constituted -CH in FW1213? I know they switched it up a few times throughout the years since then.

It's been a couple of things around that time, all from Schoeller's "Shape" family of lifestyle oriented performance textiles. The melange CH was a nylon/cotton/spandex blend, the later night/black CH was a modacrylic blend, and there was a laminated cotton/polyester mesh version of the P9 and P11.

NG1 Print probably won’t last long, maybe a sample. But still, already cracks

i know E loves his wabi sabi but screenprinting a knit is dumb af.

  5. Not a big fan of all the fiddling with proven designs either, but the bib/apron is a cycling feature. If you're from a city where cycling is your main mode of transport, the leg flaps are super useful to keep your pants from getting soaked. IYKYK.

  6. Resolved is just fancy designspeak for 'did'.

But i agree with droves, compromising belt use for the novelty of having a shock cord up there is dumb af. If you're gonna load up those Deep Pocketsǽ [ L and R side ] that cord won't hold your pants up but if you want a belt they're in the way.

genuinely excited to see what ch items will be appearing.

also pretty interested in what constitutes ch this time around. it's been a couple of different schoeller textiles by now.

  8. Between my P10s, P9s and P14's i've also handled all ACR pant textiles except for epic cotton.

DS: overall winner as far as balance/daily usefulness goes. Good water resistance and dry time, excellent stretch, good next to skin comfort, good stacking/drape, excellent colorfastness, good breathability.
CH: overall winner as far as style/comfort goes. Great next to skin comfort, great breathability, luxurious textile, decent drape, excellent colorfastness but essentially no weather protection.
E: overall winner for weather performance. Good water repellence, great dry time, decent breathability, excellent drape/stacking.
CH-melange: surprisingly good dry time but moderate water resistance, good stacking and drape, good stretch and next to skin comfort, the most "unique" looking of the textiles. Good colorfastness.
    S: dogshit.

Been many years since my last post here. I sold most of my ACR-gear, except my 3A-1 ofc. Since then I have become a father of two. Am now on the lookout for some outdoorsy pants to play in the woods, sandbox and other kid stuff. I want to avoid the boring "dad pants" like Fjallraven and Arcteryx and was thinking to copy some ACR just for the fun of it. I know it will be completely overkill, but why not, right? I have owned a lot of ACR pants,  but never in Schoeller Dryskin. Would the DS material be fit for what I'm looking for? I read that it's abrasion resistant and sweat wicking. Sounds good to me. Or not?

I wouldn't hike in my P10s because their patterning really doesn't play nice with hiking boots, but Schoeller dryskin is a hiking and skiiing textile by design.

  10. not in my wildest dreams did i see a j2-ss redux coming

edit: kinda bummed they took away the sleeve pocket (which is great)  but left the hood design as is (which is bad)

  11. Yeah, i'm quite aware they've been updating old designs - i'm talking about just straight up dropping the SS-J2 or P11-CH again. Kind of a factory version of Hanon's archive drop.

  12. I know it's counter to what they're about  but E should just produce an archive redux where they drop two or three key pieces from each of the 05-12 seasons.

Like a nod to everyone who's been around that long and would love to scoop up a fresh version of one of their old grails.

  13. veilance terratex pants are the worst for swishiness. i am surprised at how swishy the P10's are when new. My jacket is soft as a pair of pj's and completely quiet but then again it's 15 years old.
