  1. Some crazy pieces (and prices) being planned for the 45th anniversary. Extra narrow weaved denim, resulting in triple selvedge... https://www.dartisan-onlineshop.com/SHOP/SP-083.html Madder dyed weft denim (beautiful I have to admit...) https://www.dartisan-onlineshop.com/SHOP/SP-084.html The measurement table doesn't include the rise. I suppose it means it's too small to be measured.
  2. Pockets are fine on my 3004 fwiw.
  3. Yesterday in Monte Alban, in Oaxaca. Oaxacan straw hat, Tender sweater, TFH.
  4. FW hat, Arpenteur + Buaisou shirt, TFH, in Oaxaca.
  5. His IG has been really nice recently. It’s making me happy again to have a few of his pieces.
  6. Ii agree those western TFH shirts are lovely. I have the denim one in the wider version and I can barely pull it off. I don’t think I could do those. They’re nice thoug.
  7. (Cheating, as this was yesterday…) In Teotihuacan, wearing FW hat, SDA shirt, TFH pants (pyramid of the moon), and Tender jacket (pyramid of the sun). I sacrficed nothing, and more importantly no one.
  8. We're going to Mexico next week, Mexico city and Oaxaca. Anything specific denim, indigo, leather, etc, to look for? We've got tons of other activities (so much food...), including the standards tourist sites, but I'm curious if there's anything people here would recommend.
  9. For those interested, I asked for the knee measurements of the Cats Drive jeans, size 34, and it's 23cm, so 9 inches. It's too narrow for my tastes unfortunately.
  10. How do Japanese stores measure the waist and how different is it from the "US way"? So if I look at a pair on a Japanese site with a measured waist of 78cm, how should I think about it?
  11. Andersen-Andersen, TFH shirt, Warehouse
  12. Tender jacket, SDA shirt, Warehouse pants.
  13. The homemade hazelnut spread is better than Nutella because the ingredients are better and fewer. This being said, we rarely make it because even with better ingredients this is a highly indulgent food, full of sugar and calories. It is less smooth than true Nutella tbh.
  14. From the "Do It Yourself Cookbook" from America's Test Kitchen (good book): 2 C / 8 oz raw hazelnuts, 1 C confectioner's sugar, 1/3 C cocoa powder, 4 tablespoons hazelnut oil (book says 2, but 4 is better), 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, 1/8 teaspoon salt. Roast hazelnuts on a single layer baking sheet at 375 for 11mn (book says 12-15, but that's too much in my oven). Once cool enough to handle, put the hazelnuts in a bowl, cover with another bowl, and shake to remove the skin. Process peeled hazelnuts in food processor to obtain smooth paste (5mn or so), scraping bowl often. Add all the other ingredients & process till glossy, 2mn or so. You're done. (IMHO, one could get the roasted hazelnuts from Trader Joe's and skip the roasting.)
