are the thighs really that narrow on all their cuts? a size 3 (W34) is 10.75 and 11" ?? This is BiG style, from the crotch out right?

Also, why do we always see this rolling up the hem of the jeans action shot?
I cuff my jeans and they're set. I don't walk around cuffing and uncuffing my jeans throughout the day.
I was talking to a friend of mine earlier about this. He also has seen this a lot on social media and found it funny.
haha I've wondered about this as well. makes zero sense to me.

Damn I wonder what Instagram accounts y'all are talking about because I honestly don't know what you guys are talking about lol. I just started following denim accounts though fairly recently I guess.
Its Red Wing boots, slim fit denim, a flannel or chambray shirt, a workwear jacket, usually duck or a jean jacket and a hat that looks like a condom that you forgot to unroll. accessorize with wallet chains and beards

Random tangent, and trying not to throw shade...But what is everyone's thought on that whole "look"...You know what I mean: Tight raw denim, boots (iron rangers, oak street, or aldens), and general flannels all within that same shade/aesthetic (styleforum meets "workwear") that's all over instagram? I'm not sure the background on it; Is it a styleforum thing, something born out of instagram, Rogue Territory fandom, etc? If I'm being honest, I have to admit that I'm getting real fatigued of this same general look by every other post on instagram, which seems to have been unchanged since 2012. I know, I don't have to look/follow it and people can wear whatever they want (it doesn't matter at the end of the day), but I feel if you're into "men's fashion" as they generally claim, you should be trying to push yourself, explore new things and stop trying to fit the same mold. Total soapbox/angry old man post right now, but really, wish people would push themselves!
i fucking hate it. its like VSCO for clothes enthusiasts. the same damn preset every time

haha I read that as you were only two years old when you got your 634's and was like damn, you were a cool baby

if the upper thigh was a bit bigger I would cop. Alas, the 710 cut isnt for me

despite all the hype, you dont see many faded ROY samples. Its like everyone who bought them tucked them away for safe keeping. I really liked the RS04 denim. Its very nice, almost like a Warehouse denim. It certainly doesnt produce extreme contrasty fades. At least the ones I have seen havent.

Regarding wedding wear I'm going to wear whatever is appropriate for the venue, if we do beach wedding which is likely it'll be linen if somewhere formal I'll look forward to a nice suit. Denim won't get a look in.
so, an English Puff Daddy? haha

^ it's cool, mikecch!
@ggis: Notmuch info on actual person behind RingRing. Most denimheads know him to be vastly knowledgeable in textile, denim, clothes manufacturing, etc.
so, the same mystery as Tanuki? LOL

I find it interesting that you guys keep complaining about the marketing claims but still fall for it. The fact that you wanna know who's behind the brand means their stunt just worked. You thought about the brand more than you did about 100 other denim brands that launched ever since. By now we can agree that their jeans are solid and we still talk about it. So to sum up, that's good marketing because you create awareness and attention - which is pure gold in marketing terms - for the brand. Even Ed's delusional ranting about fucking mothers, Tanuki jeans and people disagreeing with him in general is good for the brand. And let the record show: I like their cuts and fabrics but couldn't care less who's behind it all.
no. if I bought a pair of jeans and then regretted it I would have fallen for it. Now Im just curious.

haha, ive never given this much of a shit about a brand that wont get a penny out of me. I'm a fairly patient person, but this mysterious nonsense they employed is starting to wear thin...
