Ooe Yofukuten will always hold the special place in my heart as being the first pair I have, the handmade quality to the stitching to the beautiful aging of their denim, just a great repro style jeans. (The fabric used for my pair is Made before AO so I cannot comment on current model)
Tender Co.'s fabric for their incredible marbling as mentioned above, interesting dye choice, unorthodox choice of detailing puts the cherry on top.
Evisu's No.1 denim also displayed pretty amazing fades. Love The slight irregular hand feel & hand-painted gulls.

Cannot say that exact same thought cross my mind when I see the hem (don't remember much of that thread lol)
But I do agree, it is a fine hem, does aged gracefully...

Are they Rolling Dubs? If that’s the case then there’s a LOT of mileage left in the sole unit - your first check point should be the heel
Yep it's the coupen.
Thank you for the reply, heels is wearing away but don't think it's that bad yet.
I do feel like the heels will need replacement first before the sole unit gets to a point where it need resoling.

Feels like rubber.

For all the discussion about TCB & Roy above....I think I will stick with Ooe Yofukuten for the rad repro style quality.
No drama, just enthusiastic pair of amazing couples still doing the best work out there.

Seriously thinking about rdt casper , somehow I am still abit unsure of their sizing.
Pretty comfy 8.5 in their coupen so Casper should be the same?

Much interested in the fabric, hope he will make a jeans from it in the near future.

At last, got the jeans back from @rodeo bill
A month in transit is pretty good considering current situation, not-exactly state of the art mailing system here & the usual custom fiasco.
Detail shots of the repairs:
Overall, quite pleased with the repair job. Some wonky stitches here & there but does not affect the strength of it.
definitely wearing this soon!

Here you go,
I had since wear it a couple of times, patched up all the cuff holes.
can take a picture of it's recent state if you like.

I get asked about Type 131 every now and again- it's developed something of a (to put it very mildly) niche, following. I think I made 10 pairs for Burg & Schild in Berlin, in 2011. The only problem is I never made a pattern for them, they were just a freehand addition to the 130 pattern (if I remember correctly), drawn directly onto the fabric before it was cut. Someday I'll look through old emails (it doesn't help that I've switched my email service since then) and see if I can work out exactly what shape they were.
That sounds even more amazing though, hand drawing each one...every pair must be a little different from the previous ones.
I hope you will do a re-run if possible, I enjoyed wearing it very much.

Still waiting for you to remake type 131, the baggy fit is definitely not for everyone but its one of the comfiest cut I had ever worn.

The (period correct?) Jacket that he sports in Inglorious Basterds is pretty great.
Repro-ed by RMC if am not wrong.

Their vibe reminds me of 45rpm with the whole Jp sensibility, the price is also around the same ball park.
I do like their selvage pattern, very unique. Price is indeed very steep for their shirts and others...still not sure if I can reason myself into buying something from them...

Think I would rather have Buaisou's take on jeans though in that (still ridiculous) price range:

Not denim but I had 3 pairs of socks repaired recently, pretty stoked with the results.
