Nothing quite like getting a shitload of stuff from flat head and rjb! These oxfords are particularly good.

My f310s look set for there first wash, after digging a ditch for getting electricity to the shed they're covered in mud.
Only 6 weeks of wear but after seeing the often washed pair from @itsbenherenot too worried about too much washing
In my opinion, if you're wearing them everyday, it's almost impossible to wash them enough that they won't look good.

Yep after the past couple years I learned that, for me, fit is foremost and fabric second. I’m really happy that I have found plenty of flat head shirts that have both great fits and fabrics. In fact, i sold all my iron heart stuff because it didn’t fit well.
Id probably do the same thing if I were you Kyle, although I think the body lengths are good in you and just the sleeves to short... but your denim shirt looks perfect!

It just shows you thatnyou can’t make everything work for everybody.
For me, flat head shirts fit way better than iron heart for instance. I feel iron heart has tiny shoulders, a huge chest, and too lon sleeves now. I also feel like the shirts are extremely long and they cover far more than my torso, which I feel is a shirts only job.
Almost everyone on here should be buying the WR though and I’m surprised western retailers don’t jump on those more. Flat head made their shirts even smaller and slimmer than they were in the past which is ridiculous... if I was a retailer I’d get only WR but nix the darts.

I'm really saddened by the fact that I hate this fucking collar when I consider how perfect the fabric and color of this shirt is.

I wouldn’t expect anything particularly better.

That entire post was written in earnest because I’ve wasted a shitload of money and time holding off on the wash... if people were telling me what was in my last post I would’ve been way better off.

I would like to get the inseam down but I don’t want to shrink the top block much more. What I figure I’ll do is hold the top block out of the water and try to shrink the inseam further in a scolding hot soak tomorrow. Edit: Unfortunately I didn’t get measurements
The existential raw denim question... can you shrink just the inseam and not the rest of the jeans? Can you pick and choose what shrinks based on what you dip and water and what you don't?
The answer..... it's not going to work. At some point you're going to want to wash them and they'll be too small, just as they're too small now but you haven't gotten them to their actual size so they look fine. At that point you'll wish you got a size up and had just treated them like normal jeans from the start. Your size in those jeans is one size up and a hot wash.
Please learn from everyone's mistakes and the countless $$$ and jawn-fading wears and time wasted on jeans that were too small because they weren't shrunk all the way.

I'm glad I don't want a pair of Roy's anymore, because having to fight to pay 300 bucks for some jeans is a huge turn off to me.

Thanks! and yep, those are them. about every 3-4 weeks... I think you seriously miss out on what flat head denim can become if you're not washing more frequently.

I picked up the slip ons in white and black from "anaheim factory" collection. They have more comfortable insoles compared to the stock Vans.
no tax/free shipping if you order from here https://www.tactics.com/search/vans+anaheim
There are more colorways on the Vans website
damn thanks those look good. do you think they are on the same level as 70's cons?

yeah but they're really good though...

Yes. Honestly I've just changed my lifestyle and accepted I can't comfortably put stuff in my front pockets... For me, it's worth it if I can wear flat head and RJB jeans.
On the other hand, since RJB jeans have a way more forgiving denim (stretchier) I think that it's not so bad.

Are you saying those clinch don't look good? Because they look amazing.

Yep same shit

I think its the same denim, just a different fit and details

That denim is just fucking gorgeous

I could be wrong but I’m pretty sure the frontier just means different details like pocket shape etc. if it’s 3xx(x) anything I’m pretty sure it’s still pioneer denim

That’s exactly what I thought but he did ask for “inside evo pics” after being explicitly told what that other guy was doing, so....
