Im from South San Francisco and we've been getting our indian summer days this week but I wear them regardless, granted 93% humidity is pretty gnarly compared to a 75~80 degree day lol

Im wearing mine everyday I've got 51 days on them at the moment

Pre soaked NFxOni

Wore them in a hot/warm soak for an hour, hung dry for another hour, then I wore them while damp and let them dry on me.

Nice, getting me excited for when my Ele2's get some wear on them! Hopefully when it gets colder I'll get them some time in the rotation..

They probably don't carry them like mssneaker said because barney's SF has had them for a while now (Before website article) and I got my black power stretch there.

Some other people we're bummed about it too and I guess the rise shrinks a good amount when soaked, I honestly am not bothered by it though.. the two button fly, as for the rise I'm pretty sure I sized properly but I haven't soaked mine yet lol

Really? Mine really dont feel all that rigid as for the heavy feeling I kinda expect that when wearing 22ozs lol but yeah for a heavyweight denim I was expecting it to be way more uncomfortable. (This is my first heavyweight pair though =O so just my 2 cents)

The texture on the elephants are great and surprisingly comfortable for something this heavy O.o

They are obviously more slubby than anything but there is still that hairy feeling to them but as for the soak I'll worry about that when I decide to start wearing them more

Yeah I don't have a macro lens sorry =/ but they are pretty hairy in person as for sizing up one, I wear a 32 which gives me about an inch of space already in the waist so I could probably get away with soaking them but I don't feel like I'd even need to soak these

Yeah it seems like it may shrink a good amount, I may not even soak them when I wear them in the future or I'll just wear them in the soak

They look nice. How long did you soak them for? Hot/cold? What was the shrinkage? They are unsanforized so I assume you are getting them into a tub.

Lol no soak yet cuase I'm not really gonna be wearing them all that much yet my indigo/indigo are priority =/

I bought mine in store though, had them unpack me the first pair because they hadn't put them out on display yet.

He's made three and one of them is on the Naked and Famous website, he gave it to the owner of Samurai.
