  2. Just got my Okayama Denim x Japan Blue “Sapphire Slubs” yesterday.. and every post I’ve read about photos not doing this fabric justice are so true. These things are pretty crazy. So subtle in low light but has some crazy character in direct sun.

The fabric on that Strike Gold jacket looks like it's gonna turn out real interesting. How heavy is it?

15oz..Self Edge had the best description.. “at a 45 degree angle it can be compared closely to a vintage hand-woven Persian rug”

The texture is even more amazing in person and @self edge has a good amount of sizes on sale if anyone’s interested which is mind blowing for how awesome this jacket is.

  4. Got the other two jackets in to round off the jacket collection. One is made by Soso Brothers in Sweden who have their sewing done in Thailand and the other is from the folks at Brave Star Selvage in El Segundo. The Soso jacket is their Rebel type ll cut made from their Yukio King Slub 16oz denim with a Sherpa lined collar. The Brave Star is their Ironside Sherpa and is made from a Black/Black 13oz Cone Denim with a full body lined with black Sherpa.
