What belt is that? Really nice.

ah_long's pair....
This is the pair back during the contest that got me hooked on Eternal. After I saw his final submission photos I had to have a pair.
Thanks for re-posting!

While at work today...
Off topic but....killer Maiden tee!

Worn, apologies for going off topic but that 1985 WASP tee in your blog is all kinds of good. They're always a band I've got time for. Lawless's vocals are still amazing after all these years.
Thanks Unders!
I agree! Blackie kicked ass back in the day. Glad you enjoyed the blog.
I guess we'll have to get back on topic now or we're liable to get neg repped

That's kinda like me with vintage leather jackets. Over the years any time I would come across a really nice fitting vintage leather jacket I would buy it and and it to my collection. It's pretty nice to have 5-6 options to choice from on leather jackets when I open my closet. It's all about the fit and the cut. Plenty of old jackets out there but not too many that fit really well and have a cut that works in 2015.
Thanks for all the info on the Buckwheat sneakers. I'm gonna keep my eye out for a pair in black. Really dig em!

^ Yep RPMWest has been doing some really nice, pre-order pieces at a decent price point and the person at the helm Manuel Rappard has done his homework.

@Worn - that's a great jacket. No apologies necessary. Wear it with pride.
Thanks man!
It's always cool to get style points from your bros.
How are your DWC Iron Hearts coming along?

That is a great pickup Worn75.
Levis type 3, Made in America, Raw Cone selvedge denim.
This is what a solid denim jacket should be.
I say that because the more exotic Japaneae repro's are incredible, but to find a cheap, well made jacket by levis - is a special something.
Post up some fit pictures if you can.
Thanks UkeNo.
That's how I felt. I remember the day I scored it. It felt like Christmas morning when I was a kid.
Brand new at a Levis warehouse sale for like $25. That's a steal in my book.
And I gotta say that I'm pretty stoked so many of my Sufu bros have chimed in and given the thumbs up on this pick-up.
I'll see if I can get some fit pics up some time soon.

Thanks for the info beautiful_FrEaK.
I had no idea that Eternal was actually 30. Slow faders for sure.

Eternal says they dip 20+ times. I wonder how many for Flat Head?

I think so Bobbo.
Thanks! I'm totally happy with it so far.
The Samurai S5530OG will have to wait for now while I build up the ole' bank account.

Man I dig those @Kameidaclub!
But they are insanely rare! I couldn't find anything on web. No images, nothing under "vintage Buckwheat shoes", nothing under "Buckwheat Rubber Company", nothing, nada, zip, zero!
And your pair is definitely "New old stock" an/or "Dead stock". Where on earth did you find them?
I already wanted a pair just looking at your great photos. But now that I know they're ultra-rare and "vintage" I've just gotta' have a pair!
*(my vintage t-shirt collection here)
I'm dying to know where you got them! Did you have them chillin' in a box at the back of your closet for the last ten years or was this a recent score?

***Disclaimer: I'm totally aware this jacket is pale in comparison to the usual Sufu favs. But I got it for pennies on the dollar and it's actually a raw 10 oz Cone Mills and it was actually made in the U.S.A. I would love to have the SEXIH22TYPEIII or the Samurai S553OG but alas I cannot afford them at this time *sigh*
From the Levi's 2011 Waterless Collection. Maybe a total of 2 months actual wear time. Didn't really keep track for some unknown reason. Unlike the current 2015 version of this jacket which is described as having been "treated with a garment rinse", this model from 2011 is a completely raw 10oz Cone Mills selvedge denim that is fading quite nicely. Hasn't touched water yet. Kind of an experiment for me to see what it will look like with no soak and no wash for as long as I can. All my other denim has been in water. I don't think it's production lasted past the one year in 2011 since I can't find a completely raw version online any where now, other than LVC of course.

Man I dig those 601xx's!
I've been wanting a pair for the longest time.
Great fit Flash.

I've soaked my one-wash 883's for like 2 hours a couple of times SuperJackle and experienced little to no shrinkage in the waist and top block.
Maybe an inch of shrinkage on the inseam at most.
Hope that helps.

Wow Flash how great!
Like Bradl I'll just try to ignore how jealous I am.

The two worst mistakes I've made with my jeans over the last few years:
In 2013 had a pair of Momotaro 1005SP's shipped from Japan and didn't take enough time looking at measurements. They ended up being way too baggy. Still have them in my closet with only maybe a month wear on them.
Also in 2013 bought a beautiful pair of LVC 1944. Took them to SELA for a hem and when I got them back they were so short I couldn't even wear them. To this day we still don't know if it was me or SELA who made the mistake on the inseam measurement. Recently sold them for pennies on the dollar. They just made me sad every time I looked at them sitting in my closet.
Live and learn.

Thought I'd take a quick pic of my humble collection.
All of em get regular cleaning and conditioning with Pecard's Leather Dressing. *(even the suede...I like how it darkens and smoothes it out)
All 5 pairs took a few years to collect but each is aging nicely with some great patina.

I dig the patch on those Imperial SE23BSP's.
