  1. @g.m start high and bring it down if it doesn't sell. older, worn, and less in-demand items like yours can still fetch at least $500 USD. 650 sounds like a good starting point.

edit: also, please post in the "community sales thread"

  2. great follow up to the 10 yr anniversary special. the dpm pattern is something special. ill look for it on sale lol.

@segue stone island in general has gotten like twice as expensive in the past five years. prices go up because they can raise them i guess

  3. @alavkx i got them. they're pretty good for the price. the whole look is a bit dramatic and the details are more superfluous than what you'd find on the acronym collabs, but the material feels good and the front pockets are nice and deep like on acronym trousers. the cut is good but not amazing. they move best when worn higher up on the waist. the front pocket with the cinch opening would be good for slurpees or water bottles i guess lol.

  4. I have a medium J62-S that still needs a new home. I need new trousers or maybe a jacket. Wide trousers like P16A or P23whatever. Would consider any kind of top really but I think J68 in black comes to mind first. Anyone want to trade (+ cash if needed)? @esper I'd trade you the above + cash. I'm in downtown + west-end.

  5. sorry for being that guy, but what was the final verdict regarding the new presto sizing? im pretty much exactly a US 11.5 so dunno whether to take a 11 or a 12.

Don't recall the J72-DS having a zipper closure on the front as depicted in the -AK version. Seems like an added detail, albeit a questionable one.

no it didn't, the dryskin version had a small button closure. despite the obvious visual difference, i can see why its still referred to as j72. They've exchanged the button closure for something more appropriate for the winter.

@segue I'm guessing it's pertex quantum pro. Seems to be comparable windstopper, except that pertex has qualities that make it more appropriate for cold climates.

Does anyone know if the J72-DS is re-releasing this season? Or is it just in the -AK fabric?

from what ive heard, just ak. you can see it above. ian is modelling it underneath the black j47ts.

I know they don't but i wonder how many items will begin to sit in stock with the coming years cause of the price points and even if they did something marginal like 5% off, im sure people would be more inclined to buy than not.  They could hold onto inventory forever if they want to continue to keep their gig small like they have been but with their collab expansions and growth i wonder if they would change their sales tactics.  prob not but couldnt imagine gear slowly amassing and collecting dust until the sell it retail but i also never imagined paying macbook pro prices for trousers so

they'll probably just do what they did last time. take it off the website, then repost them at original prices, maybe with newly taken photos.

with these kind of price points and continual market saturation, do you think we are going to see acrnm do sales for the first time ever in the near future?

    acronym don't go on sale

@Flipflop214 thanks. I would anticipate using it maybe once a week at most.

  10. is xpac too fragile to last 5, 7, or maybe 10 years of occasional usage? I could see myself using a 6ts as a travel bag for a long time. on the other hand, I bought a used 9ts just this morning, so I really shouldn't even consider it...

  11. so for those who followed along with the vapormax release, when was it the best time to buy from resellers? immediately after all the releases are out of the way, a few days after, a week or two? for a canadian, resale is already looking cheaper than having bought new from acrnm.com.

P10-CH in black, pretty worn in.

on this topic, I’m finding a few small holes along the seams of the gusseted crotch of these pants. Anybody have any suggestion for fixing them?

just take them to a local repair shop. crotch rips are common in the p10. both my pairs had the crotch repaired years ago. get it fixed before the holes get any bigger.

  13. The fading is one thing, but I also really like all the tears and fraying. Stotz is comparable to raw denim because it looks better and becomes more comfortable with age. My pair is at least half-way thru its lifespan. The second photo highlights the shiny/waxy effect from the high wear areas. I figure it is the result of skin oils mixing with the DWR coating.

  14. It's a shame they didn't release p15 and p17 more regularly. I can't remember how many release they had but it feels like it was only one season.

on a slightly related note, it really bugs me the p23 isn't modular. I wish that jersey fabric was attached by a zip. I could probably wear them literally everyday if that were the case.

  15. gosh dang that looks really nice. I was expecting black tec-sys but I think the white looks better. the collector in me wants some white logotape and a white jacket sling
