  1. I've removed as much as poss with finger nails... the issue is it's sunk into fabric... tried freezing, no joy ffs! Got a stain devil that does chewing gum arriving tomorrow <fingers crossed emoji>
  2. Advice needed... just been the park in my Canes Leepros... and sat on some fcuking chewing gum!!! Arrgggh. Any proven tips for getting it off? YouTube has examples but I'd trust a Sufu-approved method first... thanks
  3. Makes me realise my Arizona have never been nourished... probably explains the leather splitting in places
  4. Chiming in on the Birks chat... Meet my slippers... super comfy footwear Had these about 10 years, worn most days over that period, starting to fail but reckon there's a plenty of life in the old dogs yet I also have the Boston clogs (comfy but not the best lookers imo) and Zurich which I like a lot more
  5. @shredwin_206 yeah... 48k Yen without tax seems to be a popular new price... the 1922 is the same. S'pose at least we can be confident it'll be quality stuff
  6. Sun Surf / Canes / Buckweat / Rototo (non viz)... continuing with Smooth's spacious jeans theme
  7. The new closed front jumper #2321002 looks good
  8. Never heard of these before - will look them up - thanks for the link
  9. 100% with this. Of the socks I've tried, these are hands down the best. I have two boots pairs which are bulletproof and just bought two lightweight pairs - again great.
  10. WW2 pre- and post-wash Coming along steadily... puckering developing on the yoke and back pockets - shame I can't see it when wearing though, just can't twist my head that far
  11. That's outrageously delightful under-arm creasing!
  12. Coincidentally I just had my head in the book and seen your post Doc Jacket #01 from the book 1915 shows your point with the width of the arm opening. Some might get away with the shape when doing keyboard tapping work . Notably also, this has a single row of stitches at the arm opening and the down pocket is curved Looking at #02, the 1922 model has same wide shoulders but with a double row of stitches and a pointed down pocket. The owner even cut down the sleeves - must have had especially short arms! I've known a few fellas like that - short arms, deep pockets
  13. Yeah the dimensions are in keeping with the era. Moreover, looks like this version has wider shoulders than the 27 and 33 to give even more of that drop effect. Also looks a touch shorter with even shorter sleeves, though that'll be offset by the drop shoulder. All in, a nice blouse. I like it... in fact, I'm nearly talking myself into it
  14. They just keep coming... 506 XX 1922 jacket, 1915-1927 model... I'm sitting this one out... anyone copping?
  15. McCoys x 2 / Freewheelers / At Last Co / Buckweat
  16. @chicote love them - they look great... mine are new blue but that vertical character is there albeit subtly
  17. Freewheelers / Mister Freedom / At Last / Pras
  18. @julian-wolf Most excellent - congratulations!
  19. @CSL great post, cool as... do I spy Mister Freedom Buckaroos and a spot of wabash?
  20. @AlientoyWorkmachine @chicote thanks for the insights gents... I've been re-inspired to put my woad 132s on again today

    The Flat Head

@bootsofmannishleather nice entrance to the forum... welcome!
  22. @chicote that's a tremendous trio of worn-in denim up above.... agree the Tender have so much character. I've had a couple of pairs of 132s (one logwood, sold as they were too big... I should have kept them as they'd now be a good slightly oversized fit... I live and learn; one woad, worn a little but no appreciable evolution yet). My guess has always been they'll take more effort to wear in properly than other jeans - but it's just a guess. Hence I'm curious to get a feel for how much wearing-time it takes to get to a comparable level of fade / evolution. How would you compare this your three beauties above? All other views from those Tender wearers out there also appreciated...
