Haven't worn these 20s in a long time... too hot in the UK atm hence trying lighter weight jeans The hem is from TCB factory... I like how the roping has developed (hindsight says a shorter leg length would've been better)
  2. Definitely... you can just raise something from left field

Really nice faded colour there AtW... looks like it's a pretty robust garment too?
  4. Ditto... lovely tees Broark I haven't looked in Signal for yonks... quite like the Olde Homesteader henley's too
  5. The arms make most sweatshirts wider than they are long surely?? Maynard's right tho... Buaisiou are short and boxy - approximately square in body!
  6. I have a wabash one from Hillside - I can deffo recommend if you can find one
  7. William has a selection of scarfs including an indigo dyed one - link Would be cool to buy some Buaisou fabric (when back in stock!) to make a scarf (easy job methinks)
  8. @AlientoyWorkmachine thanks for the insights! Having little patience, I took a punt - deets over on the Denime thread.

OK then to close this one out… Put the Lot 220As through 60C wash and laundrette ‘industrial’ hot dry then a little wear Changes in measurements: Waist -0.5cm; Thigh -0.5cm; Leg -1.5cm. Other measurements – no change. Apart from welcome length reduction, negligible! Risk alert of ‘Dad wash’ look (I hear you ATWMachine!). Nice kick-start for roping though. Conclusion: Buy the right size in the first instance!!! Now I’m finished with the experiments and faffing!!!
  10. Definitely... I'll be staying tuned... next up is a visit to the factory
  11. Freewheelers x 3 ('22 jacket, '37 jeans, t-shirt) / Hollows / Viberg
  12. I assume using higher dryer heat will shrink jeans more... but have never tested it. Does it? Anyone got experience? Then... anyone used a launderette / laundromat for drying their jeans? It's a big old drum so any problems with a single pair of jeans bouncing around in there on a high heat? Will hot dried jeans just stretch back out anyway, making it a pointless (but entertaining) experiment?

Thanks bF. Where are you measuring thigh?
  14. Has he made jeans from scratch before that he has sold? Or are folk paying for him to learn with the bait being the use of Cone denim?

Thanks - with some wear is OK mate - appreciated
  16. Good points Fooleo - it may well be his super-sewing that's driving the price Would be interested to know if he's sewn an LR01 himself using non-Cone so we can compare properly? That would give us some insight We do know... LR01 made in Japan with Japanese denim are 295 Euros; LR01 made in Paris with Cone are 700 Euros It may be that both his sewing and the Cone combined make up the hike (I have only scanned the site and presume the LR01 details remain the same) It does read to me though like he's making a marketing play on the Cone denim - 'LR01 Limited Edition in legendary Cone Mills White Oak Company deadstock denim fabric'. Not sure the average-Joe customer would consider the Cone denim quality... he's certainly not mentioning it (why would he) I'm definitely not knocking anyone who chooses to buy a pair... in fact, it'd be great if someone on Sufu got a pair that we could see develop... Moreover, it's nice to see more brands getting air-time - long may that continue

Updated fit pics as promised for the Lot 220A I haven't worn them in earnest so they haven't settled down yet e.g. unruly hem, dryer side crease Really good jeans, though - as per previous notes - there is space on the waist and I wonder if one size down would have been better. Interestingly, they have a similar waist measurement to my FW 1937s... which I like being more relaxed and 'anti-fit'. I was planning on wearing these on the occasional foray into work - which translates, to me, as more closely fitting. Have they sold out in 34s everywhere now? I couldn't spot anywhere with stock. @beautiful_FrEaK would be interested in measurements on your well-worn 34s if you have chance. I'm conscious that losing a bit on the waist, normally means losing a bit on the leg and rises.

Great shout. I was putting this into the 'how many pairs of jeans do you own?' thread but, quite rightly, it should have its own. Maynard do you want to set it up do you want me to do the honours?
  20. Looks like it could be a case of cashing in on Cone (unless his Cone source are doing the cashing in). 3x the price of Maynard's 76s is steep. Will be interesting to see if the 'normal' price for future jeans is closer to the LR03 price which is less than 50% of the 'special'.
  21. Not me! B-3 jacket £4,445 anyone?!!
  22. Junior MJF9 claims these Air Zoom Victory, with carbon fibre powered propulsion, are the best footwear ever... I'm sure he'd wear them with jeans if he had any!
  23. Link to new stuff coming in Looks like another price hike... £345 for a pair of 1941 chinos anyone?
