how much do you like the shirt? do you wear it often?
if something happened to the shirt(lost, stolen, etc.) and you were fully reimbursed, would you replace the shirt without even thinking? Or is the shirt not that special, and you might use the money to buy a different shirt?
i bought the natural herringbone for a friend for a birthday or xmas present (i forget which) and it's a stunningly awesome shirt. i own 4 RT shirts and i'd happily add this to the collection. my friend refers to it as the herringboner.

you can post pics wherever you want - but the pics thread is for pics only, no banter.

i do actually dig that poncho cloth, just not on the pockets. i did enquire about using it for pocket bags but it would have been too thick for that.

Warning: 15oz SR6 pics ahoy
These arrived in the mail yesterday, my new Cobra's. Beautiful denim. Super crispy, with an awesome deep inky tone to the colour - almost purplish in some ways. Threw in some comparison shots also with my semi-retired 13.5oz Cobra's - easy to see here the change in pocket size that Ande has made since last year's cuts.

20 minutes in water is enough. make the water the same temp as what you may end up washing them in and that'll be enough - then wear 'em

Yeah can't wait to get the shirts sorted out. I have been working on this western style one for a long time now...just trying to save up for some custom pearl snaps!
had a feeling it would be a western - fine by me!
also, expect an SR6 order from me shortly. i simply can't say no to a 15oz Cobra.

Good article on Ande Whall in Denimhunters:
nice to see that Ande is working on shirts. an AW shirt would make my tux complete®

666s, sz.29, one initial soak, one wash, 9 months
such a nice blue coming through. love that about IH, and especially that 18oz.

no harm in soaking at all. my ih's have already had a few soaks and one wash (also due to baby shit) so go for it.

@peterparker - liking the use of promiscuous to describe your denim wear.

HC-SF-21 Checking in for challenge number 3.
As it was a long weekend here in Sydney my wife and our 14mth old daughter went on a short road trip to visit some family who live a little ways south.
Their house is located just off the coast in Austinmer, and backs onto a vast expanse of bushland. Just north of where we stayed is a fairly large national park so heading back into Sydney we took the scenic route. We didn't really get much of a chance to get out & look around (travelling with a youngster can be tricky) but the drive through the park was pretty beautiful, and from certain points you can actually see the Sydney skyline off in the distance.
not a massive trip by any stretch, and not great shots either, but is good to get out of town if only for a small amount of time.
