Hey guys, how should I size for sexi14's if I'm 31 in pbjxx-013's?

most people go TTS (true to size) for the sexi14's. a few have sized down one and struggled. that said, they do stretch a bit so don't be afraid to hot soak them when you get them, they'll stretch back out. i think self edge are getting a restock of them soon...

does anyone know about the Naked and Famous x Flathead jean? It is Flathead denim and Weird Guy fit. It sounds like a good mix but I can't find any posts on this

Hi guys/girls im just wondering who here has size 32/33 IH301's and their thigh measurement? would really be appreciated thanks!

not sure what good that info would do you. the pre-worn measurements are on self edge's website, and any measurements after they've been worn will depend on who's wearing them and how they fit them. for example the thigh's of my 30's have stretched out about .5-.7" in 12 or so months of actual wear, but if i had skinnier thighs they would have stretched out less..... see what i mean?

also keep in mind most raw jeans, including Flat Head, will stretch beyond their raw state after a while. if you're concerned about it, jam something in the waist while soaking, and indeed after, to stretch the waist. may seem like a hassle but it helps.

hi guys im lookin at getting either FH310's or IH301's, im just wonderng how these compare to the nudie thin finn cut and sizing related to it, thanks in advance

FH310's & IH301s are two different cuts. the 310 is a slim straight, the 301s is a slim taper. i don't recall much about Nudie cuts but the IH301s is slimmer overall than the FH310 - if that helps at all....

guys, im looking to buy an imperial as my 2nd pair of raw denim, currently rocking N&F broken twill skinny guy, size 28.

well the thing is, im from malaysia and will be studying in melbourne this february. n i heard that the 1 shop that sells imperials at melb, alloftheabove wont stock it anymore. so how can i get to try those pair on? i want it to be a straight, kinda-lose-skinny fit.

they still are in production right? not that it stop or any ? since from what i read a few pages back, everyone seems to be looking for a pair by asking other forummers here in sufu..

they look right to me. you can see the vertical pattern in the denim, i doubt a fake would have that. but seeing as f310's are $335, and these are $330, brand new from Self Edge why would you bother getting from eBay?

looking for denim that is a similar cut to the ih301s... im a sz 30 for reference, any recommendations from fellow self edger's?

i'd highly recommend Ande Whall Mustangs. they're not available from Self Edge but from direct from Ande himself.

they too are sanforized denim, and the cut is almost the same as the ih301s, maybe a slightly larger rise & leg opening - but not much.

BSP's are 100% fine with clarks boots, i have both myself.

BSP's are a slim taper, f310's are a slim straight.

grooveholmes - would have liked to have been in the contest, but couldn't really commit to it properly seeing as i'm also 6mths into some SExI14's.

As promised - pics of brand new Mustangs. Think i got the fit just about right - these are pre-soak - but will need to cuff obviously. Shame NZ Post took over 2wks to deliver to Australia, but these are easily worth the wait.

i'm a 30 in ih301s, and got a 32 in the imp's. i probably could have sized down to a 31, as they stretch alot.

just measure your ih's & go from there.

@ beautiful_freak - not sure why you think my post was directed at you, it wasn't & isn't - certainly never questioned your knowledge.

was just saying i'm just amazed that in a denim enthusiast environment such as this, there needs to be a 5.5 year old thread on how to shrink a pair of jeans - surely that's a question that's been answered by now.......

so 5.5 years later, this thread is still alive. if you need shrinking instructions for clothing ask your mum. otherwise just look through the other threads - that's what they're here for.

I have actually. The brand is actually the work of an old workmate's husband. From what i recall the jeans were pretty solid. good denim etc.

Aside from the new range of jeans, are there any other projects on the horizon for Ande? Jacket, shirts........

i just saw that Ande is taking pre-orders for the regular 'non-contest' models.

so i impulse purchased a pair of mustangs in a 30x32.......

hot soak in the hottest tap water you can get. then wait - chances are you'll put the weight back on with summer drinking.

i bought a 31, that should of had a 32" waist, however it was barely 31.5". so i luke warm soaked for the first time whilst wearing. then wedged something in the waist and cold soaked a bunch more times. i've worn them maybe less than 10 times and they're now just a tad under 32". i also did leave something jammed in the waist for a week to gradually stretch them out when i wasn't wearing them.
