if the seam allowances at the inseams and outseams are not cut back it shouldn't be a problem to re-hem your pair and actually gain 0.5-1.0cm if the current seam allowance measures 1.5cm and is a full double fold.
most folders should produce hems in the region of around 1.0cm...as to the possible question of where to hem - you can let us know where you're located and I'm sure somebody will have a suggestion.
Thanks!
I'm in EU but I'm going to Bangkok in a couple of weeks so I'm gonna have them hemmed there.

@bod Thanks for the info, I will order from them if there's no other alternative? I really want a pair of WW2 genes right now LVC '44 doesn't look as good as Warehouse 1003.

Anybody in EU order from Warehouse JP site recently? How's the process?
Any other place in EU to cop a pair of 1003?

Is the White Oak Mills closed? No more USA-made denim?
Sorry if this is already discussed in the forum, I haven't been around for a year or two....

Sorry everyone, I've been severely lacking in updates lately...It gets to the point where I have so many pictures that I get overwhelmed and end up not posting anything at all, so for the time being, here's at least an update! Jeans had their first wash since maybe late April? And then threw them in again because I sat in some...liquid...at a BBQ over the July 4th weekend
Lovely shades of blue starting to come out, and you can really see the vertical striations of LHT. They've become super soft/comfy as well, and I think I finally have all of the shrinkage out, at least length wise. No puckering or roping so much with the hem, though the waist band is starting to a bit, mostly due to my belt rubbing against it. Hopefully I'll get some more pics up eventually!
Wow, amazing texture on that denim.

Thanks for the feedback.
I was watching this thread form the beginning but didn't have a chance to buy the jeans in the start (my size was sold out when I caught up on this). Anyway ended up buying a smaller size and traiding it with a SuFu member.
I 'm curious to know whats going on with DenimProject, because his blog seems quiet.
Any news?

I'm not in the contest but I've been wearing these a lot.
They're very very comfy and I love the colour but am a bit dissapointed in some things. They don't feel very "vintage" or old in the sense I thought they would. For example I'd love to see some hardware rust and the leather patch doesn't really feel like leather at all.
Overall, great jeans still.

In my experience Turkey made 505 was in fact better constructed (stitching, etc) compared to some of my US made LVC.
BTW where can you get US made 1967-505 ?
