  1. Here are some post hot-wash pictures.  Max was right about the waist shrinking too much because it feels like a 33.5 waist after the wash, when I got a 35.  There is some muffin topping going on, but I'm not too concerned because they'll stretch back out when I've broken them in, I've been having a bad diet lately, and I was able to button them up without any issues before the wash.  I'm glad I sized up from TTS.

@chewie: let's see some fitpics! How do you like them? I want to move my button this week, so I can finally start to break in mine.

Will do, I did a hot wash on them last night and they are drying.  I didn't take any pre-fit pictures  I got size 35 and I'd imagine they have the same pre/post measurements as yours.

As for the BKB denim, I really like it.   It seems pretty uniform without much slub, but maybe I'm too spoiled with my PBJs.  Clean, forward, and straight to the point.  I can't wait to break them in and get some wears on them, but I'm currently focused on my PBJs.

  3. Is the waist the only concern? What about thighs or knee?

My 2 cents.  If you're between sizes, I'd go a size up.  From my past mistake, I've purchased too small and it was a blunder - crotch blowout within 2 months.  I think it's perfectly ok to have a little extra space/room than vice versa.

  4. I wouldn't be too worried about unsaforized.  Just measure a pair of jeans that fits you the best and match those to Sams or any other that you're considering.  They will shrink when you do a soak/hot wash and usually stretch back to original measurements.  Most of the issues people get are sizing too small with wrong measurements.  If you think a cut is too small size up, if sizing up looks goofy, then the cut wasn't meant for you.  Good luck.

  5. Hello peeps!

Just wanted to share some pics of my s5000bkb for those wondering how they fade. I got them back in march and added them to my current rotation (total 4 pairs, I like variety). I haven' t worn them that much since I wear a suit 9 to 5 monday to friday but they are fading very fast. One wash to get most shrinkage out, and yes, I had them tapered.

Awesome pair, I need to get some BKBs
