  1. i can take them down if requested but seeing as they are releasing tomorrow it shouldn't bother anyone.

the pictures are not from subnet. just a website getting ready for tomorrows launch.

I'm grateful for you posting these Kamikaze! I don't see any harm in having these up, especially since they will be dropping in less than 24 hours. Please keep them coming!!!

  2. Zipper to my 3A-1 is off the rail, any tips on getting it back on? Currently can only zip with one working zip one way.

I have the same problem. I was planning on sending it back to ACR for repairs but have not gotten around to doing it. You can try and reconnect the zipper using pliers but in my case, the self repair was temporary and it would always come off again.

  3. zippers no longer functional in what way on the original 3A-1?

One of the zipper stops of the main zipper has been torn off so I can only close the bag one way. The size zipper pull tab has also been torn off. It's taken quite a beating over the years. I'm going to bring it to Bagjack to see if they can do a quick fix when I visit Berlin next month. Otherwise, I may have to soon retire my Limonta :(

wow, the patina on the 3a-1 looks awesome; hoping mine turns out half as good as yours. the zippers on my 3a-1 get stuck regularly and feel like they might break at some point though i think it's gotten a little better. not surprised that you've had issues with them.

regarding forcelock, agreed with exhaust fumes that they don't work that great with the iphone ear buds. they always fall off with minimal pull.

Sounds like your zippers are doing better than mine. I'm really hoping repairs won't cost me a pretty penny!

  4. If I see you around town with that 3a slvr, i may have to mug you.

    nice collection homie

Ha! I read mug as Hug. Either way, I'd be more than happy to show off the 3A-SVR to you if you're curious. You should be able to find me in either the Olympic Village or hanging out near Haven :P

  5. I don't really have a method, at least like Spyron - its basically just stuffing it in itself and just making sure the zip doesn't get too tangled - usually try to insert the zips last and than giving it a whack against the palm to pack it in finally. : )

As cmdR mentioned, the fabrics quite durable, it always kind of feels like I might poke a hole in it (even after this many years) but it hasn't happened yet. And I use it without much care tbh. Not much help I am afraid. Packing takes 45 sec - 1 min, unpacking is 20-30 sec roughly.

Oh, and I never use any of the jacket/shirt slings.

Thanks for those tips @badlydrawn. I'll give it a try and pack it without the sling. Cheers!!

  6. Ugh I can't believe I didn't see this! Thank you @jbob24!

@cmdR thanks for the heads up on the durability of the fabric. I'll spend some time practising later tonight! Cheers!!!

@analog29 despite how thin it is, the GT fabric is actually quite durable. If there is anything that will fail first, it's the seams. So as long as you are mindful of not stressing the seams too much you can be quite rough with the fabric and it'll hold. Just loosely fold the jacket behind the stow pocket then fold the pocket over. With enough practice you can do it without needing the lay the jacket flat; while waking even.

  7. If u search the thread back there is a tutorial for packing the j25.

I did do a search and found a video of Errolson packing it up https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pACWXS1bD3k but it cuts mid way as he's packing it up (probably to save time)

If you can link me @jbob24 to this tutorial, I would appreciate it. I couldn't find it and I searched through threads dating back to 2012. Maybe I need more coffee :P

  8. For those that own the J25-WS, do you have any personal tips or tricks for stuffing it away in it's own stow away pocket? I just tried doing it once but wow did it take me forever. Mostly because I was afraid of tearing or stretching of the fabric. Did you remove the jacket sling before packing it? It's not as easy as I thought. It's definitely no KR-SM1 :P

Ok so on behest of my friends, we decided to time how long it takes me to fold the J25 into it's own stow pocket; result: 17secs flat. I'm pretty sure I can shave a couple of secs off that easy. 10 secs would take a bit more practice.

@cmdR - could you give me any tips on your technique? I'd love to get packing this up down to 20 second rather than the minute+ I experienced last night ha!

I have extensively used both the WS-J25 (SS12) & LA3-WS and find them my go-to out ware throughout spring to early autumn in my climate ymmv ofc. The dryskin on the other hand I dislike, too heavy, is less wind resistant and has a rough feel on the skin.

I just want some dif colours tho, olive or something else would be great.

@badlydrawn - perhaps you might have some tips on this since you mentioned you wore the J25 often.

  9. The description on bdga of the 3A-3TS looks a tad wrong. It says Black Foil but clearly it's more like Laminate. It also says Made in USA but the tag in the bag says Made in Germany  :P

On the bright side, it's great seeing bags and attachments return to the shops.

  10. I ordered one from end and contentstore and neither came with bag or spec sheets.  just going to order some plastic bags from Amazon.

Firmament accidentally forgot to give me the bag and Spec sheet for an S6-C. But they were excellent (as always) and mailed them to shortly after. They understand how important that Bag and Spec Sheet is. I would definitely make a stink out of this with End and Contentstore.

Also, I heard through a very reliable source that the J1A-GT x Futura and the will also be dropping on Acrnm. I assume the 3A-9TS x Futura would also be included.

  11. I'm not sure what the Nemen fabric is but I did get a chance to see these jackets up close today. The pictures we see online definitely do not do this jacket any justice. They're much MUCH nicer in person! The fabric definitely felt tougher than the previous J43-K. I want to say it had the texture of cordura but obviously not as stiff. I wish I saw this post sooner, otherwise I would have looked at the material a bit more.

The dark grey olive green variation was my fave of all the colourways.

  12. at 50euro a pop for shipping I hope this isn't the case... don't just wanna order the restocked MK1 on it's own, hope it doesn't sell out - the small envelope is already gone again!

I feel your pain... I really want that 3A-3TS-SVR but I prefer not having to shell out twice for shipping. That said, I'd rather not wait another season to get this bag. Decisions Decisions!

Also, if that LJ-2 in the Video makes a comeback, I'll be the happiest ACR fan out there!!! Fingers crossed!?  :D

  13. any comments on buying direct from Acr in Canada? How much should I expect to pay in customs $200?

You'll get hit HARD on customs fees in Canada. I live close to the border so I have everything shipped to Washington State where the custom fees aren't as bad.

That said, if you buy a jacket... say a J1A-GT for about 1070 Euros = 1568 Cad, in BC the customs fee for the jacket will be closer to 500 give or take. It sucks :(

  14. Can anyone with any of the cashmere stuff do some reviews for it? Would love to try it, but need more fit pics/actual usage reports before investing that much. Thanks in advance

I have the KR-NG2 Cashmere Neck Gaiter and I use it extensively. The neck gaiter is holding together much better than the KR-SM1 Shemagh. The Shemagh often leaves little puffs of black cashmere on my 5 o'clock shadow. The Neck Gaiter has been solid so far. Also, this may not be important for some, but I personally like Acronym branding and I'm happy to say that the white print on the outside has not cracked or peeled after a couple years of use.

  15. Just 2 jackets and a hoody left.

    CH-J3B - Sz Large $600 USD

S-J14 - Sz Medium (fits loose) SOLD

    DS-HD2 - Sz Large SOLD

For details and pictures, see the original post included in the quote.

It's time for me to unload a lot of Acronym from my collection. Some of these have rarely been worn due to the size being a tad too small.

All items include original dust bag and info sheets. I can provide pics of those if requested. I have not retouched any of these photos, however If you would like additional pictures, please let me know.

That said I wanted to put these up for sale asap. Please add 4% Paypal fees or list payment as a gift. I will provide accurate shipping costs at request. I have also sold quite a few Acronym pieces here so rest assured, you will get exactly the item as described! Honestly, I probably took better care of these than my last few gf's! :P

Anyway, please do not hesitate to ask me any questions!
